Don’[t read this unless you’ve defeated the main Campaign.
In the original Diablo, Deckard Caine explains that he is the last of the Haradrim.
In Diablo 4, Meshif insists that Lorath is Deckard Caine.
When it’s over, Neyrelle tells Lorath that he is now the last of the Haradrim.

I Should care about this but I dont.
You butchered the spelling of everything so badly its all I can focus on
So are you saying D4 is actually a prequel? Since Lorath is so much younger.
I liked your take until I realized that Lyndon is part of a quest as an old man. So, no, prequel would not fit.
ETA: Plus, Lorath is much older than d3. Unless I misunderstood you.
the horadrim was restarted in D3
You care so much that you even write a comment about it

Horadrim are not a race of people.
The Brotherhood of the Horadrim , at times referred to as “the Order,” “the Crusaders of Light,” and the “Horadric Order” were an ancient brotherhood of mages and wizards that were formed by the archangel Tyrael to combat the three Prime Evils: Diablo, Mephisto and Baal when they were banished to the mortal realm.
There were three orders of the Horadrim:
- The First Order, with members you might recognize such as Tal Rasha, and Zoltun Kulle, among several others.
- The Second Order which was re-founded in 1286 actually had Tyrael as the leader, and Lorath as one of its members, along with several others such as Kadala and Mikulov.
- The Third Order was basically the second order reformed/refounded which still had Tyrael as the leader but he left, so Lorath became the official leader of the group, and it slowly drifted apart as members went their own ways. Members included Donan, Elias, and several others.
- The Cain’s were not part of any order but could trace their lineage back to the original order, this included Aderes Cain, Deckard Cain, Jered Cain, Leah, and The Shard-Seeker (main human hero in diablo immortal). They considered themselves part of the Horadrim because they studied and preserved the knowledge that had been passed down over the ages. More or less Horadrim by association that did not belong to a specifc order.
So no, Cain is dead, and Lorath is not Cain.
