Like the main dude gets grabbed by a damn statue of souls and dies - but she gets literally trampled and rended and survives?!

It’s called bad writing/storytelling, and there’s a lot of it in the game

I totally thought she died too. Still don’t remember healing her. I thought we just rolled her corpse over and found the soul stone.
I thought this was pretty lame too. She looks dead AF. Just silly.

I know this is a month old post. But this video actually makes an extremely valid point: Mephisto saved her at the last second as an instrument of hatred against the wanderer. I actually am inclined to agree with a ton of what he says as it fills a TON of unasked and unanswered questions I have about the story.
