With beta diablo 4, anyone get coop working?
Been trying all day. Player 2 presses start to connect but then nothing happens. Player 1 can’t enter town with player 2 in limbo so we back out to character select and try again once a town trip is needed.

The misses is pretty bummed, been excited all day to jump on and play smh

Worked right after launch.
Series X.
Player 2 preordered.
Wasn’t split screen though… atleast for the 3 seconds we ran around till got called to work.
Update: works still at 8:00pm pst. Took about 10 minutes for player 2 to pop up though, still not split screen. Not sure who said couch co-op is split screen, not diablos style.
My wife also. I still can’t get it to work. Anyone else?

We got it to work after about an hour of waiting for it to load.
My hypothesis.
You load in and wait in queue on the first account.
Once in, you join the game on your 2nd persons controller.
At this point, the game puts the 2nd person into the queue, so however long that queue is, you have to wait. Once that queue is over, it lets the 2nd player select their character. During this “queue” the first player can’t really go anywhere in game, just has to wait.
This is ridiculous.
So join your game on player 1. Then connect the second player. It says press the start button and does nothing. How do I know if I’m in qee waiting?
You don’t get to see it. I think the 2nd player is just in queue behind the scenes.
You will know that a 2 player session starts because your menu will switch to the other side when you access it.
We have gotten to the point where Player 2 is at the Character Select screen but we can’t actually switch over and select a character. I had assumed we had to wait for the 2nd player to pass through the queue, but it’s very annoying that we can’t couch co-op.
