Looks like there’s a patching come on the 28th.
- The stack size for Prime Evil Splinters increased from 1 to 99.
- Various stability, visual, and UI improvements.

not like itd matter that late in a season, but great for the people who are still grinding =)
since the beginning, prime splinters have actually been stackable, but the devs are just playing whatever lame tricks to extend players time by disabling the condition. then, when entering mid season where player bored, tired, disgusted and fed up causing numbers drop, they put up this remedy to draw players back and prolong the season.

How about increasing the drop rate by allot, they never ever drop for me.
is that how games get you to play more? i had my fun with s15. this change certainly wont get me to play longer ^^
Just don’t believe Joe.
too late, obviously. 98% of players are gone til December
I have 3 stacks of Wirts coins…
This could of come sooner, but better later then never. Perhaps (JUST Perhaps) the dev’s will use some common sense next time… ![]()
oh heres a bandaid until we screw it up even more.
chances are 0.5%, 2%, and 3% when completing the world whisper event. if your area has fewer players, you have to rely entirely on your own luck.

i find getting 2 splinters is pretty quick, but getting the third one…
What is truly head scratching is that it took this team this long to have figured this out. Again another “Do they even play this game” moment. But wait, can these be moved to the stash? Can they be moved from character #1 to character #2? What if I want to save up a bunch and farm on character #1? Oh wait, thats right, they locked these per character because of course they did.
D5=Just a continuation of D4 stupidity just minus the towns.
Did they do this on purpose so they could be given praise for the change? Or are they really that incompetent.
That is the debate we need to have.
You use this line in a lot of your posts. Not sure where you get that idea from. They rarely get any praise even when they do something right.
It makes me wonder if that’s how you operate in real life. Not everything is some type of manipulation tactic.
Waaaay too late for that.
My vote is incompetence. This is what you get when you have the team working on MS Paint moved over to a different department to work on this video game call Diablo IV.
Got 2 splinters today. Both the same as the one I had . So even if they stack still little chance of getting all three have only been able to make 2 coins this season. A let down to a season with some good ideas but poorly executed.
It’s a test for its implementation next season, that’s why it’s a late addition
It is not a line. We see it happen over and over again. Poorly implement something, “fix it” in patch notes after player complaints for something that was blatantly obviously implemented poorly in the first place.
So I am asking is this purposeful or legit bumbling on their part? It is an important question.
not sure about others, but i think you and i over these 3 years, have seen enough of how the devs repeatedly failed to apply common sense from day one, dragged out the fixes until the complaints exploded across every social media platform, and then proudly jumped in as the saviour of the day to fix problems they should never have created in the first place.
