Spiritborn reaches Quintillion Damage. Enough is enough

Enough of the silence from Blizzard and forum trolls defending this crap. Fix this.

Or bring the other classes up to par, since P150 seems to require you pushing Quintrillion damage to complete it lol.

Your upset a build has a high ceiling, what you should be upset about is how they left all the other classes to feel like trash and in need of a proper rework.

I don’t care how they fix it. This is beyond insulting. Just do something, but do it now.

There not going to cut the knees out of everyone who’s trying out the expansion class.

They want to keep the casuals, this is not a game about balance.

Please no. Not everyone wants the easy mode.

Personally i dont really care how much dmg spiritborns do, but i agree Jemuzu, itd be best if blizzard would adress it sometime.

Don’t care. Isn’t fair to everyone else who’s putting in 100x the effort. Fix it. Buff/nerf, I don’t care. This is extremely insulting. It is not ok. Nothing anyone says is going to make it ok.

I don’t want easy mode either, but I do want my Druid to feel more snappy, cleaner animations, more well designed kit that merges together well.

Forgetting damage, since that obviously will just be tweaked for next season, the class simply feels like it was put together with some amount of thought, not like the prior classes that I think 9000 people all got to pick from a hat as to how they’ll work.

Change the numbers however you like, but the class simply just feels better to play in general. Granted I haven’t played since S3 so maybe this is less of a thing for players who kept up on the game more.

from what i know the spiritborn was designed by the rogue designer. I think it kinda shows. The rogue does feel pretty well thought out.

but yea, not saying “dont buff anything” or stuff. Im just saying dont buff to spiritborn levels ^^

Or buff the game to actually have end game and content that challenges us, at whatever level you want the numbers to be at

Above all, before class balance, just add some kind of decent endgame loop that isn’t based around mid-game farming activities only.

The gap is too extensive to be justified anymore. Blizzard needs to stop being silent and address this. Make the game fun and rewarding as long as you put in the time, effort, and have thought out your build. THIS, whatever THIS is, is like being spit in the face. I joked about it for awhile. I’m done. This is actually upsetting. Trolls will flame me for being upset. I don’t care. I know I’m in the right here. Nothing justifies them just letting this go on continuously. Fix it, for everyone.

But the gap is also meaningless.

Whatever Torment your farming on has the same drop rates as some omega OP P-Over9000 streamer luck player.

You lose nothing by not being the meta power class. You gain nothing by being the meta super power class. It simply doesn’t change anything at all.

It takes 1/100000th the effort to gear a SB for Pit100 tho.

And long before your get there you’ve run out of any other content left but to grind the pit for flex points, because everything else you 1-shot into the dirt already.

Yes. D4 season 6 has 1 class. Great job Blizz.

Expansion class, to pull people who never played D4 or have left back at like S1 back into the game to buy the expansion, log in, pay for the battle pass then quit.

This is hardly a surprise move

Expansion classes usually have 500,000 TIMES more damage? LIKE WHICH ONE? Name ONE. You have Stolkhome syndrome buddy. Play a real ARPG. Maybe one with over 3/10 (MC) and 4/10 (Steam) user score?

Was RoS 99.9% Crusaders? Was WOTLK 99.9% DK? No. That’s back when Blizz expansions weren’t cash grabs.

It’s disgusting and no one should be complacent about it. The fact that people are is the reason Blizzard will continue to push the bar as far as shady practices moving forward. Soon we’ll have full on Pay To Win.

Oh i’m not defending this, it’s terrible on Blizzards part.

It’s simply why would you expect differently for one and for another, again, there is no competition or gatekeeping in D4. There is no content you cannot do on any class. There may be tiers of that content harder for you to reach, but reaching it changes nothing about your day to day playing of the game.

So classes not being balanced is more about your ego while playing and less about what actual numbers someone is doing.

If that were true my fully decked out WW/DD would be speed farming T4 content, but it’s not. Mighty Throw being overpowered because of a snapshot glitch doesn’t count, either. Class balancing and skill balancing needs to happen. Not later, now. They’ve been promising this every Campfire Chat for a year. No more excuses.

Ok but if you are speed farming T3 content, you are getting the same thing as someone speed farming T4 content with very little numerical differences.

So yes I agree it’s garbage on Blizzard’s part that the expansion left the other classes behind, but the key there isn’t to drag a new class back, it’s to bring the other classes forward is all i’m saying.

Yes, this season will be remembered as the season of SB OP, they aren’t gonna mid season change that, but maybe they’ll mid season fix your WW/DD to be speed farming T4 content.
