The spiritborn quest is bugged. After touching totems and being told to ‘use the spirit power to defeat enemies’ or whatever that message is: you now have zero attack power after the first totem. I ran through this twice in hardcore mode. Both times, after the completion of the first totem, I tap second totem, then proceed to lose all ability to damage the enemies except via thorns. I can’t complete the quest. I have completed this quest previously on another hardcore character. This quest bug claimed my second and almost my third. Please get this fixed up.
Having this issue also. Something finally "released"and i was able to kill everything, but quest chain disappeared. Please fix blizz.
I thought I had the same issue, but it seems that you need to walk up to the boss and smack him with the spirit power, not try to fight his adds to the side. Once I do that (every time a spirit joins in) I get my own skills back along with their damage and could continue the fight.
Might not be bugged, just confusing.
This was actually the solution (touching the boss once with the new power) but it’s not a very obvious mechanic. Might need more in game communication.
