I will keep this post short. Spirit born are too powerful which makes no one want to play other classes. After researching this and watching countless videos it is most due to bugs with the class that Devs have not addressed. Blizzard, you need to fix this, either so other classes can do PITS close to 150 or fix some of the Spirit born bugs bringing their damage done. Little bit of tweaking this would improve overall gameplay, so people have more diversity with classes.
Additionally, not a fan that Spirit born cannot dual wield. One handed glaives would fix that fairly easy while allowing more flexibility with builds
You are TOTALLY wrong; based on my testing, the power of the Spiritborn (as well as all other toons of all other classes) is based on some unknown invisible factor.
This completely explains all the confusion about one person reporting OP results, and some other person reporting weak results–INDEPENDENT (or “randomly” related to) toon class.
I know no one will like to hear this; it’s the TRUTH: results are related in some way to the ACCOUNT (person) who is playing…the training dummy is useless (for me)–doesn’t have a damage log nor numbers at all.
You sound like reporting Cillian Murphy too handsome due to bug DNA, make you feel like you don’t want to be a man
You’re pretty late to the party aren’t you? There’s been an OP build exploiting bugs every season since release. Spiritborn just happen to be the latest and most egregious, sure- but Blizz has already proved time and time again they can’t balance these classes to save their lives. We would all love for classes and builds to be within a reasonable power level with each other though.
every season has had an overpowered build. no different from the lightning orb sorc, for example. im sure itll change again next season.
Blizzard even said it was bug found in their rod of Kepeleke giving way more damage than it should.
if you avoid any cheats, trades, carries, and related and just play with the regular game rules, using any build you like, even one profiled on a web site, Spiritborn is just the same as any other build. I’ve done this approach since Season 1, and I find nothing unusual in the results. If you want a bug exploiting build, then so be it.
