Spiritborn is post weight loss Druid, change my mind

Druid has hit the Gym hard guys! The second half of Druid looks pretty swag.

Druids shape shift. This class does not. Just because you seen some animals doesn’t make it a druid.

Crying is started. Sad

Oh, is that what made Druid so fat? The shapeshifting? I’m glad they got rid of it and finally lost the weight though! The class looks much better!

Druids are also a pet class, even if you don’t use them. The Spirtborn is not a pet class. They are a summoner class.

It’s a Monk and everyone knows that.

Totally agree… I know the reason why Druid has lost love to be improved: Druid 2.0 spiritborn received all this love :frowning:

More characters.

Yep you are correct. My original thought was “you may have seen”… But I switched it up and messed up the grammar. But good contribution keep up the good work champ!

lol it is not a druid jesus… quit calling it a druid class…

the play style and combat mechanic closely resembles a Monk.

Oh no! Let’s not make similar things!

So what you’re saying is: Druid + Diet & Exercise + Jungle = Monk?

Oh so THAT is the real reason Druid is so fat!?! They don’t actually fight themselves they sit back and let their pets do it? But spirit pet or real pet they do still look similar to Obese Druid.

Change my mind posts make me cringe.

The core of druids’ skills or abilities is shapeshifting. In ancient Celtic culture where the inspiration came from, druids were teachers and spiritual leaders. There were more like priests.

I think they tried to do something different with this class, make it a new and unique thing - but to me it comes off as a weird thematic hodgepodge of ideas. I was never really a fan of jungle/tribal styles either so it’s just really unappealing from a thematic standpoint to me.

Looks like a generator Monk to me.

But fat Druid is cool. You never saw a Druid with 200% movement speed?

Spiritborn seems more like a Monk+Witch Doctor hybrid to me with the combination of martial arts and spirit with summoning animal themes.

I don’t have anything bad to say about a new class.
The expansion itself is a very lean full price expansion. The base game really sucks and you are paying for one class, a nemesis, and a start area. In d4, I didn’t buy the necro for 15$ because it looked and was underwhelming.

Gotta be honest, class puts me in the sleeper. Wish we were getting javazon or paladin.
