I think the new class Spiritborn is interesting as they are battle hardened and embrace ethereal spirits, but the name doesn’t fit Diablo and not immediately descriptive to the class (also sounds too similar to Dragonborn from Skyrim). A better name would be Shaman or Jaguar Warrior.

We don’t quite know how the class will work yet. I guess you’re assuming a cross-mix between Monk and a WD, I’d probably say something like that as well but we don’t know

I’m specifically talking about the name itself, regardless of skills and abilities, doesn’t feel Diablo. It sounds like a class that would be in Skyrim or ESO. Atleast there was a warrior in Diablo 1.

OK, what if the class is something Abathur-like in functionality (or perhaps even plants trees to move fast from one place to another), would “Spirit warrior” name still fit ? 
Perhaps even “Spirit master” could be more fitting at this point but we don’t know yet tbh
Just going to be another one of them fusions of 2 garbage classes I am sure like Crusader.
Instead of knight/paladin. It is witch doctor/beastmaster. Better hope they do not abandon it like the witch doctor and make it useless for all but the first season too.

They could’ve gone with a made up name just like the new map “Nahantu” tbh sounds cool for a class

The point is, the name Spiritborn does not fit the Diablo franchise. It sounds like it’s from Skyrim.

They said nothing like previous classes known in previous Diablo games (pretty sure they said that out loud once)
Ofc. could be just an overhype but here are some potential ideas:
- A mix between Monk and Shaman or WD
- A mix between Assassin and Shaman or WD
- Something completely different (perhaps a “Phantomlancer” class that duplicates itself and then uses spells to “multicast” for their own advantage including old D3 elite affixes lol => AoE cleave, Fire chains, Spirit link, e.t.c. :P)
Not even Skyrim, I’d probably say something like an Elf-themed (say like Elden Ring) game tbh. BUT, it’s also weird to call a non-warrior class “warrior”

24 hours after the patch and still no hotfix for the thousands of people that can’t start the game, because you know a roll back or something of the sort would take money out of their greedy little hand

I think it is a swing and miss. The game is clearly missing out on a ton of fan boys and fan girls, those who want to play as a giant, muscle bound freak, using a shield and some sort of smash your face weapon.
But, nope.
We getting the witch doctor, I have seen this picture before… I think we should have seen this coming from a mile away, the lower right hand side of the map screams this expansion.

I thought, when they promised, it would be something fresh, never seen before. I thought it would be along the lines of a samurai type warrior… but we get a monk who plays in the wood with two handed weapons. probably uses vines.

It should be a new class, but I get a feeling it will be a cross between the D2 Amazon and D3 witchdoctor.
Melee, but with some magic attached to it.

Why not ‘Spirit Shaman’? The class is obviously modeled on the jaguar priests of ancient central and south America. I think that would be perfect!

i feel it will be smthing similiar to monk and wd, cuz for now there was nothing new in this game at all. Mark my words.
