Seriously Blizzard? Everything we’ve earned in past seasons can’t be applied to the Spiritborn class cosmetics? every seasonal cosmetics were applied to ALL classes, yet Spiritborn gets NONE of them? To top it off, the stock cosmetics you give us are complete garbage and you’re asking us to pay $25 (which is half the cost of the full game itself) for new cosmetics? What a complete joke.
For this reason alone, I won’t be playing Diablo IV from here on out. The simple principle of ripping your customers off is enough for me to say screw you. You’ll never see another dime from me again.

Dawg a one time expansion purchase compared to people with thousands of hours in the game with every battlepass cosmetic? So the people with thousands of hours are the ones crying about it now? The spirit born was data mind since launch? Theres zero justifications for not being able to use BP skins in fact it sounds so bad I myself think its probably a bug and if its not a bug then it should be illegal in my opinion

Exactly, and we can’t even get our cosmetics added to a new class within the same game. That seems to be asking too much of Blizzard.

Ive been trying to think of somthing similar that happened but off the top of my head all i can think of is maby the overwatch 1 skins being lost with overwatch 2 but those were different games… the argument could be like yea the spirit born wasnt in the game during those seasons cosmetics but that argument would easily be countered by why would every class be able to swap the same season skins? And also if spirit born was data mined since game launch that would mean that this is 100% intentional. they had a reason behind it or actually discussed it at some point

I am super frustrated as well. This seems like a huge slap in the face to people who have poured countless hours into the game season after season and unlocked cosmetics or paid for them. Every single cosmetic i earned or paid for seems to be completely unavailable for SpiritBorn. I really hope this is an unintended bug or something they will make available later on.

I agree I like getting on the hamster wheel and doing seasons over and over for nothing else besides a fun time! 
Not just cosmetics, you can’t use previous season emotes either.

I seriously hope this is some sort of bug or oversight.
…then again, knowing blizz, they would probably cook up some low effort response from their legal team, saying you bought the cosmestics for the first 5 classes and it was never implied it would unlock them for a 6th class…

It better be an oversight. I can promise with every fiber of my being I’ll never pay for another Diablo expansion (or any Diablo game) in my life, if this is how you treat customers, and I’ve owned and played them all since the OG (Diablo 1). I spent $90 on an expansion that the new class can’t use ANYTHING from previous seasons for, let alone the new ‘transmog’ that came from spending $90. The only thing spiritborn can use out of the extras is the wings and mount. Anything you earned in the past is a “hehe f- you we just want money for new yacht teehee” by blizzard.
Whatever their excuse is, isn’t justifiable whatsoever. I don’t care if it’s body mesh is wrong or some other nonsense. You’re supposed to be one of the biggest gaming companies. Stop touching woman in the workplace then hiring useless people as compensation to code your games, act like you’re an adult and want to work for a company and hire actual people who know what 2+2 is or how to open internet explorer. I swear ya’ll went downhill ever since that lawsuit and hiring random people to cover yourselves up. Shell of your former self, nobody knows how to do anything anymore. The launch was self explanatory. You had months to make the launch come out on the time YOU picked, but last minute decided someone forgot to carry the 1 somewhere and had to hire all 3 people working, overtime to find where the 1 went missing.
Stop cheating your customers. The story even says we killed lilith as a spiritborn and that was pre-spiritborn era, so there’s no excuse why we can’t have past cosmetics too. If the game acknowledges we existed prior to VoH then give us the items we earned too, pre VoH. Especially paid for battlepass ones.

I have to agree with the frustration in this thread. When I went to go dress my new spiritborn, I was disappointed to discover I couldn’t put her in the solstice outfit or any of my other old BP cosmetics.
If the issue is that they never adjusted the old cosmetics to fit the spiritborn character models (due to crunch, or whatever), I hope it will be fixed in a later patch.

I’m not sure what you guys are all on about…
Polearm cosmetics are usable by the Spiritborn, cosmetics earned this season like the Pirate stuff and paid battlepass are usable by the Spiritborn.
If you mean all the previous armor sets/emotes from previous seasons, of course they’re going to make us pay for it… come one guys, you expected actual thinking and generosity from Blizz? Hahahahaha, you guys are so cute.

No smooth game (minus delay, crashes during change of zones (darn blizz servers tech/code quality))

No storyline standalone closure in a standalone DLC xpac.
