Spiritboring what do you guys think of the class

Does anyone here think the new class even looks fun? Obviously wont know till the expansion comes out to get to play it but the way I look at it Blizzard drags 3 big streamers down to their HQ to talk about the spiritborn class, well 3 big streamers for diablo that everyone likes etc or a majority likes to get attention on the showcase of the new class, that’s just how it seems to me, blizzard using wudi, rob and rax to get views per usual. The class to me looks boring and uninteresting though I just want a paladin so idk Ill probably just hate on every class that comes out though this looks actually boring to me but will see when expansion comes out i guess.

i mean, not every class fantasy can suit a player.

it wont be my go to class i think, but it does look interesting and ill for sure try it.
I do see the spiritborns having quite a big playerbase actually, most likely will attract the people that liked to play monks.

I think it looks interesting myself. I’ll definitely give it a whirl when I eventually buy the expansion. Feels like a mix of an Amazon and a Druid if I’m being honest. That’s the initial vibe I got from it anyway. I’m all about that centipede.

However I went into this showcase expecting literally nothing. I did speculate they would have physical, poison and fire though, but beyond that I didn’t know what kind of fighting style they would have. Definitely looks like something I would play though.

I’ll still be a necro main mind you, but I can easily see myself playing this class over the others when I do make a side character.

this is true… I was a Monk player in D3 and I find the spiritborn very attractive at least for now lol

i expect that the class will roll out being OP so that it grabs peoples attention. I will try it out but I will first play thw new story using my fave of Necro so I can spend most of my attention on the story.
I am looking forward to the expansion!

It looked better than I thought it would from the VERY little we knew going in. Animations looked cool and I thought Centipede looks pretty cool.

For a lot of people, myself included, ARPG classes are about the archetype and style/fantasy fulfillment more than anything. I have very little interest in Barbarian and Rogue just because of the classes/archetypes they represent - although I do think the core idea of the Arsenal system is awesome even if it has caused major headaches. So it isn’t that surprising for some classes to not resonate with a player imo.

I do wish we had a “real” Sword and Board style class - whether it was holy or not wouldn’t matter to me much.

I still haven’t tried rogue or Druid because they just do t really appeal to me, but this new class seems interesting enough. I’ll give it a go at some point.

I started playing D4 since pre launch I never tried druid, sorry that class just does not interest me lol. I tried rogue never manage to get to lvl 50, too boring. I am mainly a Necro player but recently got hooked with Sorc since S4.

And I tried Barb as well not my class either, never got it to 50

Its a Witchdoctor, fun to play.
Looking forward to zombie bears!

Seems interesting, won’t say more until I can actually play it.

Yes, my main was a Monk in D3 and now I can play it in D4 and so I shall.
OK it’s not a Monk exactly, it’s a martial artist that is borrowing all sorts of repackaged effects/skills/abilities from other classes, but I like what I see so far. It could turn into my new D4 main! We’ll find out one day when I play it for a season.
