Spirit Wave - quick question

Hey all,

I normally main Minion necro, and with the buff to Mendelns had a great time this season with it until I capped out at around pit 90.

Rolled a 2nd Necro to be spirit Wave as it appears slightly stronger, plus been able to direct the damage feels more fun to play than hoping your minions attack the correct target.

Anyhoo, enough rambling, onto my question;

I got very lucky and got a 4GA Blood Artisans Cuirass (I’m SSF so this was a huge find for me), however the aspect rolled as a 5.

Seeing as my dmg primarily comes from the bone spirit explosions, would I be correct in my thinking that an aspect roll of 3 would be better, even if it’s non GA (my luck ran out with Zir)?

18 orbs per blood wave would mean I’d be creating twice the spirits and essentially doubling my damage right?

Thanks to anyone who could let me know :smile:

we mainly care about the aspect, it doesn’t matter GA much on that unique. So yes getting 3 is obv best and 5 is not great.

not worth playing the build to ‘push’ if you don’t have a roll of 3.

Thanks for the response, just seems crazy that an item level 750 is better for my end-game build than a quad GA just because the aspect rolled a 3 instead of a 5!

Hit a new PB earlier, cleared a P93 with a solid 2.5 mins left, might max those glyphs out yet :slight_smile:

Yep, a 3 in the aspect is best for this build.

I can confirm dropping from a 4 with a GA to a 3 non-GA was an improvement.

This.

I moved from a non GA 3 proc to a 3GA 4proc and it might be a wash in terms of dps gain.

Though I do see a ton of spirits being wasted even at pit100. Your attack speed and orb generation play a factor too
