Why are all builds based on the tiger’s special attack? I’m looking and I can’t find a build with a special gorilla attack. I like it visually, but is it so weak that it is not used in any compilation? I guess I’ll have to come up with something myself. I’ll try to include it in the thorns build.
Because The Hunter is really strong. Puts your Ferocity at max and gives you extra, so you gain free attack speed, can cast it multiple times in non-boss situations which helps Supremacy upkeep, and timing it in when bosses health is low (aka injured) doubles your damage output. The Hunter is just strong.
Gorilla sits in 1 spot and you have to wait 6 seconds before you can cast it again even if you have insane cooldown gear. It grants defenses and unstoppable in its circle…but Spiritborn can easily get those things without issue. As SB currently stands, Gorilla offers nothing the player wants. Maybe in extreme pushing or fightiing in a less than ideal group in a Raid or torment boss, the extra survivability could be nice, but thats all I can think of.
I understand, but I won’t wait for something to change in this case and I’ll play my own build even if I have to get stuck in Torment 1. I’m currently on Torment 4 and I’ve done, killed, found everything. It’s true that I’m only lvl 208, but I’ve already killed Duriel, Lilith at Torment 4. It’s time to do SB on my own terms. maybe it will be more difficult. Thanks for your reply.
That’s fine, as long as you are aware of the pros and cons. I like playing my own builds as well.
You mean the Protector ultimate? If yes, that’s what imI use now on my ToD build because of two reasons:
- the Hunter is overused and kinda boring now in my opinion
- for my build the Protector is stronger and gives better survivability

it works quite well. not like meta builds but 110 pit is a very good result. it’s important to have fun. good job. I really like the special gorilla attack visually. but I think I’ve seen that it can be changed. maybe there is some aspect that will do it but I haven’t encountered it. Or weapons.
