Looking at the sorceress she seems to have unmatched defensive tools, especially as frost sorceress:
-strong barriers: protection gives 30% of your max hp as barrier when using a cooldown, ice armor regenerates through dealing damage
-long duration immunities: flame shield and deep freeze
-flash freezing on low cooldown with frost nova
-endless damage dealing ministuns as lightning sorceress
-good low cooldown dash
Now she can simply cycle through these skills: activate ice armor → freeze enemies which also makes them vulnerable and build up the ice armor by dealing damage → when the ice armor is broken dash away and when they gap close freeze again → then use deep freeze afterwards to get a long duration immunity and a giant shield → now the freeze skill should be up again…
I think the main issue I have here, is that her defensive skills can too easily take out the threat of entire mob groups be it by freezing them or by simply becoming immune to damage - the threat is reduced from 100 to 0 in an instant without much possible counterplay for the mobs.
Don’t think so. Its probably your build and also you are with low level mobs.

Any opinion on any type of balancing right now is absolutely useless.
You have 3 more world tiers to go through, and 75 more levels.
Each level gets longer to progress through. Each world tier gets MUCH harder and scales with your levels.
Tldr this thread might seem like a good idea, but its pointless.
No clue because we have not seen scaling. We have not seen specific unique modifiers. Have not seen much really. This be like people that were new to d2r judging classes based on the first 2 acts we got in beta. Sure Fireball sorcs were OP in beta. But they were not or never have been in hell(till charms).
I know mobs get elemental resists and if it anything like diablo 99.9 percent of mobs will be resistant to fire/cold/lightning And the other .1 percent will be between poison and physical.
I’d rather be tanky than tissue paper.
Bosses shouldn’t be dealing more % damage to me than I deal to them. Bosses shouldn’t be immune to CCs. Invulnerability is the only tool I have available to bring some balance.
