It’s actually insane that I’ve managed to push myself to level into the 90s on my sorcerer. Since my mid 60s, pushing any dungeon sigil, or out in WT4, I’ve been getting randomly one shot by literally anything. It’s absolutely terrible. Barrier’s are absolutely worthless. They just help proc lucky chance for me. I have similar armor/health pool to a Necromancer friend of mine, whom I play with. He’ll take a hit from something and live, and I’ll die from it. Blizzard, what are you doing?
sorc isn’t the tankiest class but…
are you running Iceheart Brais pants? If so I’d look at a different setup of your build and go for a rare pair + maybe disobedience. stats would be something like: damage reduction from close, damage reduction from distant, total armour %, high max life. not sure how your skill tree is set, but i would invest some points (not just 1) into ice armor, protection, and mana shield.
On my sorc i can easily run 50-60 NM’s as long as the mods aren’t bricks.
Of course it’s not the tankiest class, nor did I expect it to be when I started playing it. But the never ending insta-dying no matter how dialed in I am while playing is just beyond reasonable.
I do run Iceheart Brais, but my build calls for it. I tossed another aspect of the build in lieu of Disobediance, because I absolutely needed the armor enhancement. So I am running it. I also have both flame shield, and ice armor, protection, and mana shield. I almost always have a barrier up, and am almost always one shot by pretty much anything.
I get that some deaths are likely on me, but again, I’m watching my buddy survive hits that I just explode from, with similar stats and a different class. Granted, I have glass cannon as a part of the build, so I take more damage but it’s through a barrier-- It’s insane at this point.
Feedback should be posted in #pc-general-discussion. Developers aren’t monitoring the troubleshooting forum for gameplay feedback.
Don’t worry, given the changes in patch 1.1, doesn’t look like their monitoring feedback anywhere.
