I gotta be doing something wrong…I finally got my Level 71 Sorcerer working great but I can’t seem to get my Tier level to increase to TORMENT…I have completed all objectives called for twice…Am I doomed to remain on NIGHTMARE forever? Thanks for any response!

Not sure if some kind of weird joke, or asking how to change World Tiers.
Kyovashad is where you would go to change World Tier difficulties though, once you’ve completed the appropriate dungeon to unlock those tiers. Giant statue right in the middle of town.

No joke. Just a dumb player…I just figured it out…I was trying to change my Tier from the Log-in…Thanks for the response though!!!

errr from the log in? as iggi said, you do the capstone dungeons for wt3 → go to kyov and move to the big inarius statue in the center. same for wt4. capstone dungeon for wt3 is in kyov, the wt4 capstone dungeon is in the overworld (forgot its name)
Now maybe im confused, but i really dont know how youd change your world tier on the log in page ^^

No this actually makes perfect sense coming from a newer player. Think back to when you first logged in or when you make a new character, the option to select your difficulty starts from there. It’s only WT1 and 2 at the start, but I could easily see some one thinking they would need to go back to the login to change it.

Is WT3 considered Nightmare?
i only know the terms for the first two, being adventurer and veteran. to be honest im not sure if wt3 and wt4 even have dedicated names.
if i think of diablo 2, id say nightmare would be wt2, so veteran.
Gonna make me login to the game just to check lol, hold on.
Edit: So you can in fact change your world tier from the Login screen.
WT1 - Adventurer
WT2 - Veteran
WT3 - Nightmare
WT4 - Torment

Soon as you select your character the option is staring at you on the right, I just never paid attention to it before I guess lol.

yea, it was always the inarius statue for me. i mean, not like anyone would keep switching world tiers so i guess thats why we never payed attention to it hah
