Sorcerer Paragon Board Resist issues (Overcapping frequently)

Preface: Sorcerer needs all Resist nodes where the specific 20% elemental resist nodes are on searing heat, static surge, frigid fate, etc.

I’m in a paid position for one of the major sites as a Sorc builder for reference, I build a lot of boards. The optimal way to build a sorcerer to max resists IMO is to use a combo of tactician, reinforced, elementalist on the starter board and enchantment master. You can then grab a 6% node on starter or elemental summoner. Top off with potent warding if needed, but Intelligence alone can finish off maxing ALL resists.

What ends up happening is Sorc maxes all resists and ends up with 20-40% extra for cold, lightning, or fire resist if they pathed through these large 20% specific elemental resists for glyph reqs. They just get wasted and you end up with 35 overcap. Necro gets all resist in the spots we get a wasted elemental resist and gets armor nodes too. The real gripe is we get no armor to speak of besides 200 on our paragon and just end up with these large overcaps of resist when built optimally.

If we aren’t going to have armor, at least make every resist node the fat 6% all resist. We have little base armor, we often cannot afford to run gems in jewelry, we need the base armor skulls provide. It’s a bit constricting on paragon board structuring as i stated the optimal way above. You will notice all well built boards look like this. Other classes can cap armor extremely easily, none really gets wasted. But sorc ends up with a ton of wasted resist. Please consider changing the boards.
