Hello, is the sorcerer mana starved? I’m finding myself using the basic skill more often than not, which takes forever to kill enemies. I can’t really use my core skills more than a few seconds before I’m out of mana. This is pretty much every pull on a decently large group. Do we just need to look for more mana max capacity gear? Or mana regen? I’m level 30 atm.

try a barb lol, its like season start for diablo 2, using simple attack all the time cause you got no mana.
i hope they bring mana potions back, or make the basic skills better and more useful.

Also, you your basic to build up crit and refill mana?

I went chain lightning sorc because I found many ways to mitigate mana issues with skills and aspects over time.
I left my barb in the dust however because his fury issues are absolutely insane.

Barb and Druid are currently the only two classes that have a build that isn’t resource starved. But those require gear to achieve.
Outside of those, everything else is resource starved. It’s one of the major complaints about the game right now.

i felt the same way just starting a new sorc…im level 8. already quit the sorc lmao

I am a casual, and I am doing fine, right now I got an aspect that refunds mana when I cast my core, now I am even more “okay”.
firewall sor and mana hasn’t been a problem.
Oh, well then I guess that settles it. Pack it up, everyone. Robert isn’t having mana issues so it’s not actually happening to anyone else. All the top players that have gone in depth with the math and theorycrafting, they’re just fools that don’t know anything. Robert is the true all-knowing Sorc.

Dude, I have a feeling that if I could spam mana costing abilities any more, I would be a raid boss.
Blink does not seem to cost any mana, while you regen you need to spam a basic, you can’t have all slots with abilities that cost mana LMAO, these guys must be retarded.

The ones in my clan tell me they essentially have unlimited mana.

I think this sums up why it’s important to be clear in what you’re saying. For some, having to cast a basic ability while your other skills are on CD or mana is regenerating isn’t bad, for others it’s painful.
But the class is built like this, what do you want? To have every other ability nerfed?
Dude, sorceress basics are very powerful and ranged, you can build up crit with that, I feel with my build it sometimes hits harder than chain lighting when it crits.
You need to blink around, slow spam to regen.
I think it works fine.
Seems pretty clear to the majority of people that play the game.
To not be mana starved. Kinda thought that was obvious by the OP’s choice of topic.
What is wrong with you people that jump to extremes like this? Completely irrational to ask that.
