Who is playing in the PTR ? How is the Sorcerer in the PIT.
What build are you using ?
I am using the same build since S5 which is CL + LP
In S5 I could finish in time PIT 115
In S6 I can finish only PIT 92
In the PTR I´ve added BL so I am playing pure lighting build with CL + LP + BL.
Barely can do PIT 86 which is a big deception…
SO far ive played Ball lightning grav. and the Super Saiyn one as well. I have to admit that both are pretty fun. Might have finally found a use for the Mwelted heart with the Saiyn build. still cooking tho.
Yeah both are fun and have a distinct playstyle. One could have some kind of movespeed multiplier. And both could get it’s damage increased. One a little more than the other.
But how do you use Melted Heart? What purpose? Isn’t it allways a significant damage loss?
It was a damage loss. Gave up on that and went with esadoras, and did a full crackling build. Hit pit 80 with it so far. with the grav focus. The other focus is an attack speed monster tho and if i could find better gear it could be something.
I brought over complete builds from Eternal. My BL/LS build was down 30% on damage. After changing up a bunch of things on the skill tree and paragon board. I ended up between 20-25% down on damage and 30-35% down on kill time against bosses.
The other build I brought over and tested was Frozen Orb. It was down about 40% on damage. I switched things around but did not make much in the way of damage improvements before giving up.
The changes to Conjuration Mastery, Devouring Blaze and Splintering Energy before that without getting any skill adjustments to replace the lost damage has decimated my builds. I do not play Fire Sorc but that seems to be where the game is trying to push us. I will take a hard pass on that.
I hope they make some changes or the next 4 months are not going to be good for Sorc players.
I have two build finish pit 100 without seasonal power. It will be stronger with it.
Meteor
Yeah, I may have change up one of my builds to Chain Lightning. Not going to bother during PTR. I will just wait to see what they do with the Sorc class and make the changes necessary once all the changes hit live.
I am doing 97 in time without any 3x masterwork or items with more than 1GA
