Why does the exploit glyph give other classes the ability to apply vulnerability but not for the sorcerer. This leads to really bland build choices.
70% of sorc players use ice shards for the vuln application because vuln is very strong.
Please fix this to give us SOME sort of build variety.
i dont want to play ice shards
but i have to… its sad.

I’m just now noticing that the Exploit Glyph works different on Barb/Rogue/Druid vs Sorc and Necro.
I’ve been frustrated with the Sorc. All I want to do is build a Crackling Energy build, but, because of how Vulnerable works, I’m forced to use Frost Nova, limiting what abilities I can equip.
- Spark
- Chain Lightning or Ball Lightning (haven’t figured out which I like more)
- Teleport
- Flame Shield
- I would like Lightning Spear, but I’m forced to have Frost Nova
- Unstable Currents
I’m already forced to have Flame Shield and Teleport to break crowd control. Forcing to use Frost Nova makes it that the Conjuration Skills are never useful. You’re always going to need a basic (unless you’ve got god gear and have unlimited resource), you always need a resource spender for dps, you need teleport and flame shield to break CC, and you always need frost nova to apply vulnerable. This leaves 1 free slot, and are you going to choose a conjuration over an ultimate?
If the Exploit Glyph gave an alternative way to apply Vulnerable, it would open up so many builds for Sorc, I really don’t understand why Blizzard did this. It makes me sad, I really want to play a Crackling Energy focused build.
I didnt know about this inconsistant behavior of exploit glyph till I watched a streamer showcasing paragon glyphes for his rogue and druid I was very irritated why the same glyph was castrated for Sorc?
How many problems does the class have? Its getting more on daily base…
Well, if resistances were working better ice spike sorcs would be the best spec in the game
