Yup, the dev in another game so scare of player’s comment on Blizzard not doing anything in balancing. They just nerf any build when a Streamer publish them in YT with tag Easy & Crushing. It is good move to do this early, as it just punish the minority players who followed the Streamer by respec their build, but not affect players who made home brew build. It is time for unsubscribe from streamers, just home brew your way to end game 
the moment i saw how Ice Comet works, i couldn’t help but feel it was designed to humiliate and highlight how uninspired Diablo 4’s Meteor is.
despite having dedicated unique helm and aspects, the Diablo 4 developers still couldn’t make Meteor interesting.

Have to admit that prasing PoE on Blizzard forum was good.
But debate here concern and suggestion is really something new and I love it!

Comet wasn’t nerfed the auto cast buff was.
Due to it auto casting too often.
Read the patch notes.
This was a good thing.
Don’t complain about a game that isn’t developed by the company forum you are on.

Comet sucks anyway. The cast time is too long and you cant move while casting it either.
Hopefully the GGG Devs see this post on here & change the support gems.

I’m enjoying all the “git gud” basement goblins wailing, gnashing their teeth, and rending their garments that their streamer approved broken build got nerfed into the ground.

I just want Sorc to be good for both D4 and PoE2 both games have its pros and cons.
