Which of these 2 builds is stronger and easier to use, fireball or chain lightning?

for endgame, not leveling

Are you trying to push Pits or IH-8’s?

Don’t know which is stronger since I’ve played only Chain Lightning this season but Fireball is a lot easier to play due to mana from Fireball explosions on the unique gloves.

Mana management is very important and requires a lot of attention in a Chain Lightning build using Axial Conduit.

Depends on what you are trying to accomplish. CL is probably a lot more gear dependent but I think has a higher top end if you actually get that gear.

Fireball is F tier for solo target bossing but S tier for trash/aoe.

Its amazing in IH if your playing in a group. Very very gear dependent.

What gear does fireball need outside of staff and gloves? I might make another Sorc lol.

Shako, TM and Ross. Needs to masterwork on the right aff.

You also want gloves and staff to have ga on the right stuff. Im having a ton of fun but on bosses you hit like a wet noodle.

Thanks for the info. Maybe I’ll make one if I get the chest and ring. Same as chain lightning. Sucks for bossing without massive gear.

I honestly wouldnt recommend FB if your primarily a solo player. Or have 1 alt that is a boss killer.

LSFO is the meta. I switch to LSFO from bouncy fireball after I obtained shako, TM and Winterglass. You will also need Tal Rasha , Essu

My Sorc obliterate torment boss in less than 5 seconds and I smash my face on keyboard to success in Horde 7. I am pretty sure I can easily to Horde 8 but currently it is not worth it.

LSFO if you have the gear for it for sure.

You will feel like Thor alive

To put it in perspective, when i was bouncy fireball I could only do Horde 6 max. No way that build could handle horde 7 unless you have GAs on staff endless rage and glove with all the right masterwork to 12 maybe.

I am playing solo

LSFO = S tier
Bouncy fire ball = A tier

I have already done all the content except T8 and high pits(which I dont really care about.) My alts are usually just for fun, not for pushing. =)

Basically how my Firewall Sorc does in IH. I feel the pain.
