Sorc buffs to address squishiness are trash

What a dam joke… 1% here… another 1% here and its all in paragon or a glyph that most builds prob dont use? Why not buff our barriers or give us a damage reduction bonus like barbs got. Im so done with blizz logic company is TRASH. Grow a brain pls bunch of imbeciles. You’ve literally buffed 4 rare nodes at 1% a piece which also btw FORCES people to take that paragon route if they want the benefit and forcing them into a certain playstyle. Then there’s the 2 rare glyphs… my build doesn’t even use any of those glyphs… so what I have to try utilize inferior glyphs for my build just to stay alive? Your changes have absolutely zero logic behind them. Sorc needs way more work.

Yeah, many defensive options are really pethatic e.g. “DR vs. chilled enemies” is flat out useless vs. the kinds of enemies you would want to have it the most.

But there are certainly some things they could / should do to improve the situation like for example buffing Warmth so one can actually get some decent sustain out of it (especially against bosses) or changing the activation condition of the legendary Icefall node to “using a frost skill” instead of the abomination of an activation requirement we currently have for it.

Quite frankly, I don’t understand why they can’t fix all resist. This should be our strong suit and is irrelevant. Why isn’t this being addressed? Instead of the nonsense other fixes, fix this. Mind boggling this is still an issue

its too hard for them. They created a complicated system that they cannot handle.

Buffing Flame Shield duration to 4 sec and reducing base cooldown by 20%, while also having the Flame Shield enchantment be on a 60 sec recharge timer instead of 2 mins (with 48 sec recharge with the legendary node) would fix most survivability issues.

u expect too much from them, they cant even fix storage problem

I guess dev team is trying to play a game like “write long patch note that include as many numerical increases as possible, but don’t make sorc stronger overall”.

Even if defensive Glyphs are strong, picking them will weaken our offense. And the boss’s health is increased next patch.
Dev team said “Sorcerer : Improve late-game survivability, mostly through Paragon Board improvements”. Is this a mistake by worsen?

I enjoyed playing sorc while low level. Because I believed that I should get stronger builds and items as I leveled up.

However, unique items found only at higher levels were weaker than rare items with good rolls.
Many skills remained useless even after leveling up. Because unique items aren’t designed to help to use them, and the CDR was nerfed.

I thought D4 was a hack and slash RPG. What should endgame sorc look for to hack and slash? Is it our endgame to find out if the uniques in our stash get buffed in the official Blizzard livestream every few months?

I’ve already swapped back over to my Pulverize druid leveling that until I collect enough for werenado. Can’t take the sorc squishiness any longer.
