So, I see with the upcoming patch, theyre fixing the Decay Augment (not terribly surprised)… but I have to ask: How badly is this going to hurt? I know prior to knowing of the issue, my fireball sorc could only comfortably handle pit like 85… now i can do 101. Am I seriously going to lose 16 pit levels with a snap of a finger just like that?
If thats the case, then it’s looking more and more like Sorc really is dead this season (again…)
But, I’m sure smarter people than me will have some info here.
There is no fix slated for the decay bug in the upcoming patch notes.

Now should there be…unless it is causing server side stability issues.
They set the precedent with SB and their bugs last season.
I just saw it in the Feb 4th notes… theyre changing it from Base Damage to Damage, which I believe it’s going to break it
I don’t believe that has any impact whatsoever. I expect a hotfix today.

Fixed an issue where the Decay Augmentation tooltip mentioned Base Damage when it should just state “Damage”.
But hey, if it’s not going to change anything, then I’m a little more relieved for the moment anyway (but I do expect to get smacked down with Sorc reality soon-ish)
They must have stealth fixed it. I can’t get it to work and I’ve done everything required to get it to work.
It’s official, they’re disabling it until they can figure out how to “fix” it.
WRT Greater Fireball specifically, I’m not sure how they can without outright sabotaging how it works.

So the sorc are nerfed again basically? But its okay for Barb and Necro to deal insane amounts of damage! They just destroyed so many sorc builds again! Every season!

It could be a server performance issue. But yeah, its harsh.
