That’s the reason for POE’s success during the Diablo 3 era

Both POE 2 and D4 are struggling hard. Maybe its LE time. Please come out faster Titan Quest 2.

the game has been released. as you mentioned they even are looking for your ideas :open_mouth:

The other game is doing fine. It’s just hard, so many people are overly dramatic. Just remember that the journey is the destination. Wouldn’t want this situation like in Diablo 4, where the whole game is just swimming in loot until you get the best rolls

The latest patch over at POE2 definitely went overboard in a few areas. It really rubbed a lot of players the wrong way. Some changes were so bad it made me wonder if they were being advised by the D4 team. It is still early access so hopefully they will figure it out.

With the mindset of the Dollarablo4 team it will continue to struggle for the foreseeable future.

Let me know if you find something decent. Looks more like I will break out my old game CD collection.

I been trying to beat a couple my other steam games. Working on tower of time and mutant year zero. Both good fun. Cant say same for POE 2 and D4 right now. One of my favs in past was torchlight infinite but I had to quit after pet system became evident it was gotcha system and pets were massive in that game. IF you dont mind some gotcha systems and love item chase like D2 then torchlight infinite is good for u.

Some by accident, some intentional. It’s what an EA patch is for. Judging by the interview, they’ve learned a lot and are willing to listen to feedback. They’ve already made several changes and several more are coming very soon.

The majority of players may not see it, but this is a very good patch for POE2. What the game does right now is irrelevant. It’s all about how good it is at release.

D4 is the same way with PTR. That’s just testing. S8 PTR was awful. Hopefully they’ve taken that feedback and made big improvements.

Hard would suggest purely a skill issue which clearly it is not with the majority of masochists who willingly suffer through poop like that.

With how hard the fights are, it might as well be a skill issue- And there is no shame in playing badly, everyone makes progress. It’s more a matter of preference. Also, I prefer taking longer to level and longer to reach the endgame farming content over getting showered in dopamine and only sorting loot. Really, a way too big part of my D4 experience is just farming good stat rolls by oneshotting mobs. The ironic thing is that I’m not sure what I need all that loot for, as there is barely any content to gear towards.

The fun part in a Diablo 4 season in my opinion is the path towards getting a working build, where my char is kinda weak and I slowly get into Torment 4 content, but once I have my build, the game becomes looting simulator

D4 does it a bit too fast. PoE2 does it a bit too slow. Where’s the happy medium?

Schedule 1 got me hooked lol, didn’t think I would like it and 30 hours later I can’t wait to load it up when I get home.

Last news about TQ2 is they have finished a Play Test session, with some real players, to prepare for an Early Access on Steam. I guess they must do some adjustment based on the Test session currently. The EA shouldn’t be that long to come… my guess, in two months, so in june or july. Also they are very cautious to not be review bombed… and from the last gameplay video, the game seems a bit cheap on animations. We will see.
“I got a bad feeling about this” though : there will be no multiplayer in the EA, just a 12 hours campaign, and it’s always delayed. Doesn’t smell good  There will probably be a long long time before the final release.

It doesn’t do it too slow. I honestly wish it was harder. Beginning of early access felt harder than now. Once you learn the campaign fights you barley take damage in those and once you’re endgame your build takes off. So much drama for this patch it seems.

It’s not the fights it’s the lack of movespeed with no travel skills and no quicksilver.

You are somehow equating difficulty with time to complete.

My characters have travel skills in poe2. Might as well complain quicksilver and movement skills from poe1 are much slower than teleport from d2. It’s not even close. Also, poe2 isn’t that slow in endgame, at least right now. I wish it were harder, though.
