Was I the only one who though the my Character would be part of the new season?
Last night I found out my level 100 druid is useless this has all been 1 big beta test since launch nothing carries over into the new season what was it all for.
So I ask what is the point of playing when in a couple of weeks we will all need to start over from level 1 to play the new season what’s keeping you playing?

I wish someone would of told me on day 1 of the launch " hey btw nothing you do matters right now I would just wait till the real game starts to play " would have saved me so much time and effort
You are making a new character for the Seasonal Server. Nothing is lost. Get used to making more alts, because EVERY Season requires new character.
You keep the character you have now, literally nothing is lost.
Like LITERALLY nothing.
Seasonal realms are completely optional.

If you want a forever progressing game go play wow. If you didn’t know about seasons then you started this game blind and didn’t do your research.

Believe it was clear in information brought out before launch, at least thats how it works on most games i play that have seasons. Also you dont need to play the seasons.
Why wouldn’t they add season 1 on launch and I understand how seasons play but 1 month of preseason just to say bye bye what was the point?
But is it really an option to play 1 character. There is no evidence that there will be anything to do.

Yeah, but that only works if the game actually makes it fun…
Problem is leveling in D4 isn’t fun. It’s actually quite painful and a terrible feeling of progression due to poorly done scaling.
I could make a new character right now in another ARPG, D2, PoE and it feels good leveling. However the thought of making a new character in D4 is excruciating. Then also no stash space and a plethora of QoL issues.
Give people time to do the campaign which is required pre-season

you can apply the same logic when Season 1 starts. may as well not play season 2, just wait till season 3.
oh wait, don’t play 3, there’ll be season 4.
get real. just play the game and have fun. if you don’t want to play seasons, don’t.
