Someone explain to me the advantage of this season

I genuinely need help, this isn’t just a bash on the season.

Lets first compare to Season 4, biggest perk with that the easy of making a new character and getting a resplendent spark making a new character ect. Because for me the main driving force is getting new Mythic Uniques especially since they’ve all been buffed the ones I currently have are not as good.

For Season 5 this process has been made longer, way longer, it doesn’t appear as efficient anymore. Obviously intended.

Also this Infernal Horde from my understanding doesn’t have a higher drop rate of Mythic Uniques, please correct me if I’m wrong. (Side Note are Infernal Compasses in Eternal or is that Seasonal Only?)

It really doesn’t seem like there is any “Perk” to season 5 that makes farming Mythics easier then Eternal.

I’d also like to note going form Season 3 to 4 was essentially starting over again so there was little to no value playing on Eternal because all your gear was complete crap and you needed to farm everything over again from scratch so playing only on Seasons for Season 4 was more rewarding. However this is not the case going from Season 4 to 5.

So is there any benefit or perk that makes farming Mythics easier on the Season Realm then on the Eternal Realm?

Yes there is no perk that makes farming M easier in Seasson. It never was a purpose of seassons anyway.

i wouldn’t call it a perk personally.

i mean, it allowed guaranteed mythic unique which in an aarpg / rng based game is pretty bad to have the rarest item as something guaranteed in my opinion.
especially in a very fast pace and effortlessly.

That being said, i don’t think blizzard intended for spark reward to be that way to begin with, they are usually account-wide after all , not character based reward.
