so some thoughts. my highest level on the eternal realm is a level 80 barbarian. i do remember that the transitions between the various tiers was not so smooth.
right now i am have a level 72 necro on seasonal. my choice at this point is to 1) play on tier 3 and leveling takes forever and no gear upgrades 2) try to do tier 21 dungeons (level 75 mobs) on tier 4. so i have been trying to do option 2. what i think i am noticing is that before on eternal, there might be 2-3 special elites clumped together. now on the seasonal it seems as if there are clumps of 4-5. this is def a difficulty jump if you ask me.
and every time i die, i lose all of my skeletons. if i am just a whiner then lemme know, but most games i have playes similar to diablo 4 might have all your minions die on death, but then you can summon them (without corpses) - after you rez. i find this mechanic of needing corpses to be super frustrating on top of getting constantly frozen, stunned, feared, and killed.
and my rng has sucked i am just not getting any decent ancestral upgrades which makes the entire process even more difficult.
i guess that is some good advice. i just feel kind of frustrated at this point. maybe for everybody else the mob density increase was a good thing. i am just finding i keep running into packs of 4-5 . . . i think also i have been stubborn and was trying to make a melee based necro to lead the minions. maybe i just need to do the meta stuff and do ranged bone spear or whatever
No shots here. But question… my necro at lvl 72 could 3-4 shot bosses at NM 35. So i can’t connect with the difficulty u said. Try bone spear build lol.
I have faced 4-6 elites since the pre-season patch. In principle, this seems to be normal. In addition, they had to increase the density of ordinary mobs.
By the way, I would advise you to be more wary of the lone elite, these are rare, but it seems their parameters are 3 times stronger, and if you encounter such an elite in a compartment with ordinary ones, this is almost guaranteed death.
Nothing is bad , its the fact the game clearly needs work and has performance issues already, so why add to it right now, I feel like it needs it in places , but it’s not something i need asap>
Those would be -Itemization -Skill bar- Loot- and Performance and mechanics issues like armour.
Then i can worry about mob density. That is all i meant, just dont think its that bad, then again i dont game as a job so i have not hit a wall, so each to there own i guess.
I mean only if you pick it all up , Once in T3 if its not sacred yellow it stays on the ground
There are elites and super elites. U probably referring to the latter. They are bigger in size. Pretty common to see these super elites in malignant tunnels and iron hold.
I met them even before the nerfs, and sometimes they were more painful than the butcher, especially considering that there are only 4 respawns in the dungeon. So after the sorcerer has been nerfed and continues to be nerfed, I wonder if there’s any point in trying the season at all.
I just don’t get it, why the hell would they sell this game if they send us to play other games anyway?
Can’t remember which NM… either Lost Keep, Forgotten Bastion or Mercy Reach. There’s like 2 rooms with tons of Goat elites and super elites. Like 6-9 of them or something. Epic battle. For sorc, it’s the definition of kamikaze, teleport into death pack and hope nova, flame shield pops before 1 shotted.
Well, I destroyed them without shields (almost a pure lightning assembly), but when only 1 of these remains, it’s almost death. In addition, it seems that those who come one at a time are generally terrible. With an aspect shield and damage reduction of around 68%, he took down 90% of my health per hit. Accordingly, the first meeting was fatal. On the 3rd attempt, I picked up a tactic for the kill. Looks like you haven’t seen them yet.
I’m lvl 85 sorc and tried most NM. Maybe i’ve met one or maybe i haven’t. So many things just one shot me it’s hard to keep track who’s the mean killer. Doesn’t matter if i stacked tons of defensive aspect and dropped glass cannon in favor of defensive passives.
