Some quality of life stuff has been bothering me with this game recently. I’d like to make some small suggestions for S9 and beyond:
- Why are yellows and blues dropping in T1 and above in whisper caches, NMD bosses, etc. They should be long gone. Replace them with gems or a rune if you dont want to give out an extra legendary.
- Why are max affixes on legendaries so hard to obtain? P242 and I dont have a max affix on any legendary item I use.
- I know they already said it, but rune drops are just bad. Really bad.
- Can you guys give us more ways to get the tribute that offers mythics in Undercity?
- The pit needs a significant rework. The monster HP scaling is just stupid past 90. If you’re nerfing builds and overall damage in S9, something has to be done with this. Everyone should have a chance to get glyphs to 100. I dont care about Pit 150. One shot us more. Traps, explosions, whatever. But just making you stand there and blast monsters for five minutes because your damage doesnt scale properly with their health is just bad design. Let them hit a lot harder or something, I dont know. Open suggestions welcome.
- It shouldnt need to be as long as S8 to craft a top tier gem.
- I wish Blizzard would decide if they want players dealing (significant) damage or not. Every season seems to flip flop. Make a freaking decision already and stick with it, and build future seasons around it. The constant change confuses the player base.
- I am hoping with S9 the multiplicative vs additive damage would be explained better. Maybe I’m in the minority, and dont care about the math minutia, but I just want a general idea of what to build around without having to look at a build site.
- I think the mythic drops should be increased a little bit, but the 2 and 3GA drops really should be increased, obviously in T4. Currently in T4, the uber boss drops are 98% regular uniques, at this point in the game nobody needs those to progress. I was going to suggest lowering the drops in itself, but I do use the majority of those to make gold.
- Boss Phases- are you guys actually enjoying this? Look I get why they did it. Belial does not need 3 phases.
- Andarial is a major PITA, because you can hardly walk anywhere. The size of that room needs to be increased. Around the edges of the room is insteadeath, the beam is instea death, fine. But at least give us some room to manuever. Right now its very cheap.
- Please get rid of or re-work useless mythics. Im looking at you, Heart of Selig, The Spear of LYcander, and Andarial’s Visage. Either drop them, or make them better. Its deflating to get a mythic drop and see its an amulet. Yes I know its a spark.
