Some random QoL suggestions

(1)
Let us mark aspects in the codex as favorites. This way you can quickly see/list the ones you’re interested in instead of text-search one by one (slower). Preferably each character has their own list (depends on build).

(2)
If you temper and fail to hit what you want, let us try again immediately. Now we have to click to find and select the manual each time.

(2B)
It would be nice if tempering was like enchanting that you could choose to keep the previous temper if the new option was undesirable.

(3)
I like to customize the wheel options. Let us copy the layout from another character so we don’t have to do this manually for each character. Or maybe a global configuration (although this may not work for class-specific options).

(4)
Let us keybind/wheelbind teleports to specific waypoints, especially the tree of whispers. Having to open the map, zoom out, pan east, click the waypoint, click the confirmation button, then repeat everything again because an enemy has hit you during this process, is tedious.

(4B)
Move the tree of whispers waypoint to between the tree and the npc:s. Too far to run.

(4C)
Itemize the whispers. Each time you complete a full set of whispers, make it drop as an item that you can hand in at a later time. Allow us to keep multiple whisper-items in our inventory as long as there is space left (don’t have to run to the tree every time).

(5)
Let us pick a default zoom level on the map that is used every time the map is opened, regardless of what zoom you had when the map was closed. Let us disable the town zoom (is more zoomed in).

Yeah, I like this idea. Some system to help us organize the aspects in the codex would be greatly welcomed as it is a bit of a pain to track down the one you want.

Another good idea. Anything that reduces the number of menus you need to click through is a net positive.

Eh, not really sure about this one. I’m on record as to loathing the tempering system. But I get that its not supposed to be like the enchanting system. So, the two systems do need to work differently. I just think tempering needs to be reconceptualized from the ground up.

I kind of see were you are coming from with this, but I don’t think either one of those solutions is really an improvement over the current system.

Yep, there should definitely be an option to keybind or wheel bind specific waypoints.

Not really feeling these options. One of the main point of turning in quest items ect from a game design stand point it to create regular breaks in the core gameplay loop and add regular variations to to the repetition.

As far as I am aware, the default is zoomed out as far as allowed. Which is what 99.9% of the player base would use. So, don’t really see the utility of this option. As for the town zoom, and other zooms, once again, I don’t think they impact the gameplay and add to the presentation. So, I don’t feel particularly strongly about removing them.

You can do that in the menu but I prefer we can also do that at the enchanment.

i think these mostly sound great! and a map overlay would be reallly nice too!

From all you said, I like this the most.
Really good idea.
You would be able to do 10 dungeons, world bosses and other tree chores and return them all in one go (and maybe ending that “should i do this? it only gives me 1 favor”).
10/10 idea.

This is the most reasonable requirement I heard on the forum all day today, which does not disrupt the balance but also increases the game experience. :love_you_gesture:
Let’s all learn from this genius (although some have been mentioned multiple times and I believe Blizz already knows, they haven’t been implemented yet).
