Some aspects are too rare

I know, small and stupid complaint…but it’s based on how I feel and my experience.

I’ve been playing nearly 39 levels now in season one on my rogue (playing Rapid Fire)…and I still haven’t seen the Rapid Fire legendary.

It just feels so bad.

You’re not the only one.

jeez…

I started the game on 06/01 - in the eternal realm. And quickly leveled my rogue and my necro both to level 100. I got my sorc to 66 and my Barb to 72. I never had an issue there of not having the proper aspect. But that was definitely enough time to know that I want to play Rapid Fire etc. So to be playing it (for so long now in the season) without the legendary (knowing that so many other builds can just get what they need in their codex) feels terrible to me.

I mean I’m still going, but it just feels so bad to me.

Yep, agreed. A lot of things in the game just ‘feel bad’ at the moment. My eternal Rogue only had the right aspect drop once, my Seasonal rogue never even saw it. It’s an overarching problem with loot and having everything be completely random. It’s not fun to grind for an aspect that will make your build functional or grind for a <0.1% chance for an upgrade on another item.

This is typical drop system. I roll a minion necro “No I don’t hate myself” It took a while for me to get the +2 mages aspect. Mostly for essence regen.

This is why you have trading in the game. So that you can have certain aspects that are rare but obtainable through trade, and thus valuable drops, and some that are more common. Very rare items only really work well if there’s secondary pathways to get them (trade, things like POE divination cards, etc.)

This is like ARPG economics 101, but Blizzard flunked out of ARPG school.

yeah needing two to make blizzard usable is bad enough but then you need good rolls on the main one also and hope its not a sacred or below version.

The only thing i traded was some of my time.
