Every core skill should be viable in the endgame, for every class.
That would solve 70% of the issues so far.
Make them at least numerically viable to begin with.

There it is guys. He solved it!
He fixed the core issues with the game! Let’s just make all the skills useful!
Well at least your name fits.
Got any actual suggestions?
Buff all damage by x1000000000 to bring it to the level of the spiritborn.
What’s the joke? Barbarians only use mighty throw exclusively for a numeric reason. If other core skills simply have bigger numbers I’d use them.
The current state is so bad that literally just tweaking numbers would be a pretty solid first step
A simple solution to this would be that when the skills reach some level, for example 12. In other words, you would need to have a GA in it or 3 tempering hits. You would gain a passive in this skill or set of them. For example, incinerate when reaching level 12 creates waves of fire that deal 120% more damage. Or you could choose, for example: Hydras deal cold damage and have 30% less damage or hydras deal 5% more damage for each hydra head.
In theory it wouldn’t be that difficult to achieve. If a build is in a good place, leave it alone. Then look at the other builds, buff slightly, test. When it’s close in power you move on to the next build.
They nerf way too hard and so no build ever stays in a good place.
Baby nerfs please, no need to bury every good build.
This is certainly an issue, but another issue is that they decide to create a “build for the season” and thus buff a new build.
So if the now dead build wasn’t touched / nerfed it would be at least 10 miles aways from the new shinny one. But as they decide to nerf it too it is now 20 miles aways from the “new season” build.
It’s completly clueless, with absolute no regard for the whole game making sense.
This also irritates me. They want to create the meta every season a new build will be created. We need some items to mess up or powerful runes to improve this.
So it seems I was right but overly optimistic…. They improved the core skills of some classes (sorry Druids) but to a pretty insignificant extent that will not have much impact in practice
