I think some missed the point the OP wants to make.
The problem with this season (and previous ones) is that the endgame became even more exclusive for certain classes and builds.
It’s totally ok for certain builds or classes to be stronger than others. But it is completely anti-fun, which is almost restricted to certain classes and builds.
There is a huge difference in power and defense between some builds and classes. Sometimes a player likes a build more but can’t use it because it’s unbearable in the endgame, it’s so bad for farming Uber bosses or the last levels of the pit.
It is inevitable that some builds and classes are stronger than others that’s how it works in these types of games. All the double dipping bugs and holy bolt elixir bug make it annoying because they’ve been around and have yet to be fixed (outside of the elixir). Bugs are a part of any game but it sucks they have yet to be addressed.
did you check any of the clear videos? they need to be linked. Stop blaming everything else but yourself for not being able to perform well in the pit.
man you are a sad troll spamming all threads insulting every player you see who points at legitimate game issues. telling them “get gud son” and “I play minion necro btw” “But its not because its OP this season, I am just necro from my dad”
I have seen a bunch of videos today about barbarian clearing pit 139 with billions of bleed damage from rogue.
as i said, check the clears of the contest. exploits arent allowed. im not insulting you. im just pointing out that its kind of sad that you want challenges to be suited towards you, when you can just stick to tier 61.
I have made my own minion build, I don’t use any golem damage scaling and use tyreal’s might not because its the best item but because its cool.
I am using bone prison with 2 aspects to get blight inside it and to also pull monsters into it, which makes gameplay easier and enjoyable, but is a huge loss to damage.
My move speed is terribly slow and with some elixirs for extra life (no holy bolt elixir cheese) I can do Pit100 so far, doing 80’s watching netflix.
My point being, you do not need a meta build to do Pit 100+ you just need a solid build and to invest in good gear.
The only issues I have with end game is that I can tank almost all abilities, and could tank every wave on Uber Lilith… however stacking debuffs ruin this AFK strategy which I htink is unfair. I am tanky but at a cost of damage, it would be nice if this was an alternative path to victory, rather then it feeling like you should be stacking every multiplicative multiplier in the game.
Everyone wants the challenge bar set directly below what they personally can achieve. Instead of rising up to a challenge and improving; best to knock the challenge down a peg tgen exclaim “look, I did it!”.
right? people really need to learn to accept that some difficulty just arent doable for them.
fun example, eventually i will need help with uber lilith. P1 is a cake walk but honestly, p2 and me wont ever become best friends. i honestly suck at dodging the fire skulls lol. Ill keep practicing her and hopefully i git gud, but in worst case, ill just ask a friend to help me out lol and thats totally fine
I don’t get why they would add rage quit mechanics to something that you should do over and over in end-game. I get why some no-lifers want more maso content, but it should be optional and not something that is the main end-game activity that you need to do in order to simply upgrade your gear.
I haven’t tried her in S4 yet. I might put that on my agenda next weekend.
It’s also a group game, which I find make things far easier. Everyone keeps harping on solo Pit clears, but I believe strongly the highest/fastest clears will come from groups. There’s just… not much incentive in the material department to do that yet.
Wait… you want end-game content that’s optional not involving gear upgrades? So your ideal end-game activity in an ARPG doesn’t involve upgrading your gear?!?
