[SOLVED] Endgame is too hard, our builds do not scale well

Well yes, its to procc Blighted faster, its not a different build its just a different way of proccing Blighted, it does not have more damage as OP says, it has exactly the same damage, or actually even less since if you have CE and Bloodmist you probably dont have Blight.

Well why pick a build that requires this to be most effecient, and then proceed with not caring for it and then actually complain you cant do hard content? Like dude…

well the contest started yesterday, so there arent too many entries. however so far every class is placed on the 100+ pits.

yea its for sure less. id say its the “safer” variant. BCE for sure doesnt really contribute dmg in that build.

What exactly are you complaining about?

My problem is that tiers get too hard as they increase. Too much boss HP, too low resistances/armor, too easy to get 1-shot by bosses.

Gameplay difficulty is a great thing. Putting together a good spec and pushing is all there is in games like this.

People get too caught up in the ‘putting together’ part and forget to push. Why put it together at all.

Thanks for being “nice” to me. So I had a misunderstanding about the build, that doesn’t mean you should respond like that. Why are your responses so rude?

Im asking simple questions lol, not being or trying to be rude.

Its like you see a apple in the store, its sour, but if you eat it in a specific way, its not sour.
You buy the apple, dont care for how its supposed to be eaten to not be sour, and then complain its sour.

To me, this makes no sense, sorry if i came off as rude that is not my intention

They are supposed to get harder the higher you go. Why would you expect something different? That doesn’t make sense.

Read most of the thread and decided this needed to be said.

The idea of an “infinite scaling activity” is that you DO hit a wall and then figure out how to eek out a bit more.

For a player and build that’ll be different levels but they ALL hit a wall. From a resource aspect t61+ is all you need and from efficiency maybe 70ish? In all reality most supported and thought out builds can now hit that 61 threshold and that is when the “power advancement” avenues kind of end. Everything after that is just for you to challenge yourself - not access to “more” in terms of power avenues

In Diablo 3 we had endless tiers (edit: with endless gear scaling). Reaching level 133 was much simpler than in Diablo 4, where I already struggle at level 70 depending on boss mechanics.

Irrelevant, this isnt Diablo 3. Why would you expect the numbers of levels and difficulty to be the same? Again, that doesnt make sense.

From memory when GRifts were introduced it took almost a year for any build in any model to hit the max at the time (GR 150 I believe).

So for the first 11 months of the GRift system we ALL HIT A WALL

Thanks for the help, everyone. Looks like I had some misunderstandings I have to sort out.

It needs precise timing if you want to do huge burst damage.

Flesh-eater and Blighted need to be ready (loot at the notification), then you hit Army of the Dead and tell the Golem to smack the boss. If you have Grasping Veins then it needs to be ready too.

All builds are not supposed to do all conent, its called balancing.

Some builds are good at Openworld, some at bossing, some at mobbing, some at single target, some at aoe, etc.

And again, the developers themself have said that no one is supposed to be able to clear highest pit tier because of its scaling.

Why do you expect to do it anyway?

Some patches some builds will be the best for some things, in others patches they wont, its how games work today, not a single game have the different skills, classes, builds that perfom equally as good at everything.

Just wanted to add without using caps for emphasis =)

We all have where our stop point will be on an infinite scaling system. Some people dislike that there isn’t an actual “end game” level to strive for that is realistic. I personally enjoy these systems but I fully realize they are not for everyone.

If you decide it isn;t to your liking then no shame in that =). Work on alts, come back next season, or learn to embrace the grind. All are fine options for the game/genre =)

It’s your build or items… currently at T104 with a barb with most items at 4*… also at 40k hp… haven’t tried higher Tiers since it takes forever to bring down the boss HP so I’m fine farming 90’s

no idea where you read i wanna do max pit on every build.

You specifially say, " this is up to blizzard getting all builds able to do all content."

All content to me is max pit tier.

Sorry bro, but if you are dying to bosses with summoner this season, then you have a serious build, gear or skill issue. Take your pick
