Solution to the storywriting issues

Blizz. Here’s my idea:

Instead of spending time on random themes for the seasons, I propose you extend the campaign each season. Build out the story as a permanent add-on to the campaign. Scrap the seasonal theme group and make it a world and lore building group. Develop the world you’ve created. There’s so much empty space you can fill. Lots of monsters you can add. Items you can develop.

Build up the season stories to a crescendo and then hit us with an expansion that extends the world, makes a big plot movement, and adds a new class.

Up to now, you guys have focused on seasonal themes to retain player engagement, but I think you could do it much better on this front if you extend the story instead.

I know I will get a bunch of people commenting who don’t care for the story, but this would not really be a huge impact on them.

With focused effort, you could win back a lot of people who have skipped out on VoH or are disappointed in the story.

Sincerely, a long time fan who didn’t buy VoH

I propose a different solution: Fire all the writers.

That’s hyperbolic, but I do agree that the writing has been poor up to now (most of the Donan arc is an exception). They either need to dedicate more resources (time, budget, quality personnel) to the writing team or they need to evaluate what is going on. My proposed solution aims to reinforce this weak point.
