When using a portal, the new location would randomly fail to load for me. The game HUD would appear but rest of the screen would remain black. I had to close and restart the game. Happened at least once every time I played.
The problem was due to frame synchronization. Vsync was enable in my graphic options. I don’t know if it is by default or if I am the one who enabled it. Anyway, I unticked the option and never had any problem since.
Just passing the info in case someone has similar issues.
