Hopefully it’s a trial run in D3 to be added in D4. Assuming the add some sort of benefit to it other than a SSF leaderboard. Like increased drops, XP, etc.

Since D3 and D4 run on the same engine, they’re likely using D3 to test SSF for a smooth rollout in D4.
