Main campaign VI “In Desolation’s Wake”
Defeat the ambushers in the burning hells.
As I was escorting the party I ran past the followers and climbed up the rock and killed all the moobs there. I went backdown and triggered the checkpoint for “the ambush” as they started to fire upon us and the party (npcs) put up a shield.
I already killed the moobs so theres no way for me to defeat the ambushers, its bugged since I killed them before the checkpoint.
What should I do now? I don’t know how to reset a quest or go 1 checkpoint back in a quest. That might be nice. For now I believe im stuck forever?

I relogged and i could do it over.
But yeah if you k ill them before hand you are stuck until you relog

this is still a bug. it needs fixing.

Same problem. This is the third quest in the second half I got stuck today, it looks very much like the second half got lest Q&A 
Exact same thing happened to me. I ran around in circles for 10 or 15 minutes trying to figure out if I missed something.
I feel like this is a pretty easy thing to happen…
Donan says: Watch out! Something’s Bombarding us!
Neyrelle says: It’s coming from the high ground!
At this point, you are standing right beside a ladder to go up to higher ground, which I did as soon as Neyrelle said that.
It was only after restarting the game I realized that there’s a delay where Donan says to put up the bulwark. If you walk away before he says that, he won’t say it until you come back close. And if you’ve already killed the objective enemies by then, you’re out of luck.
