So what was the point of Server Slam?

Server Slam was open for everyone and I never had even 1 second in queue to join. Now that early access is here im waiting for nearly 10 minutes now? What a fail. Lll

You’re in a queue and they don’t have to do maintenance. That’s what the server slam was for. The fail is in your understanding.

The server slam was to test their servers to see if they could handle the load of all the players. I know what the server slam purpose was, it was a rhetorical question. Apparently you dont know what it was for. Lol

Your response makes no sense, is not helpful and I will assume is trolling. He has a valid question. In my opinion, server slam happened during Zelda Tears of the Kingdom release and had far less players than expected. Blizzard knew what they were doing. Less players online to log in during ‘Server Slam’.

Really its all a dramatic show to get people to buy.

The server slam was not to ‘make it so they’d never need a queue’ it was to make sure they knew how many requests their login server could handle without issues so they could set the queue to the right place. It wasn’t to ensure there would be no issues at all, it was to make sure they had the tools to handle any issues that arose.

The problem is the number of ques

Que to Login to to Bnet
Que to Log into Game ( for some reason is seperate from Bnet
Que to Enter Game after character creation.

There was good description on what Server Slam helped to achieve by Joseph Piepiora . If you are really interested and are not lazy random Andy wanting this served on a plate - google it. It is out there : )

U know more people logged on now then server slam. Not everyone cared bout the bonus stuff

I waited less than a minute, but I get it.
