I thought the aspects would carry over from eternal, but it didn’t, only altars of lilith did

You only NEED to do the ones that you want.

They will have to make some changes. Doing this open world/Assassins Creed/mmo style content over and over again doesn’t work for seasons.

You don’t have to do them all. Just do the ones that are led up to by side quests (which is a super efficient way to farm renown) and the ones that are relevant to the class you are playing. You can cap your renown without doing every dungeon. You’ll also pick up quite a few of any you don’t do when you are running NMDS after 50.

Here is a link to a Reddit thread that has an image of the game map with all the side quests that lead to dungeons marked. There is one not on the image, and that one comes from an item that drops in Kor Dragan Barracks off a named NPC, just go in and kill him and it’ll drop. I mean I finished the dungeon anyway of course.

You have to level anyway, doing dungeons is a good way to level.

Serious Q, what do you need them unlocked for? Not the aspects I hope, they are junk outside very early levels or is there seasonal content locked behind them?

Q for you, is there a reason to max renown outside of the perks? Like the season is temporary I don’t see the point of getting heavily invested. But it’s also longer than the game has been out, so if you don’t do all this stuff won’t you get bored again?

No, not really. There are no seasonal achievements tied directly to renown level or anything.

So I mean get the perks you want, skill points/paragon level are the most important ones. The last part of the seasonal journey requires you complete 6 out of 8 high-tier activities, but only the world bosses and Uber Lilith would really need to have extra paragon and those can be the two you don’t do if you don’t want to max renown.

That said I maxed my renown on Eternal by about level 70 on my barbarian and I didn’t really go out of my way to do much of anything other than I did do all the dungeons just for completionists sake.
