…this means you can expect a ****storm eventually because casuals will never be able to beat either of them, which means they will never be able to finish the season journey! I just tried Andariel with my level 100 Incinerate sorc and… …yeah… To beat her solo I probably need to have all my glyphs to 21, all my stuff masterworked to 12, use the right potion alongside Antivenom, the right incense, and be fully focused to evade almost all her circles on the ground (her most dangerous attack) because the fight takes a long time. Yeah “git good” and all that – maybe I will be before the end of season (since I’m already level 100 that should tell you I’m not exactly a casual), but my point is I’d be surprised if all these people who play way less than me, who play a class because it’s fun and not because they studied how OP it is, and who don’t follow builds have ZERO chance to finish the journey. Prepare your popcorns because in 2 months or so, there will be pitchforks on social media I like these super uber bosses since they give you a challenge / a goal, but they shouldn’t have been included in the season objectives.
Same, level 100 with tempered and masterworked gear and any of those 3 is almost impossible STILL. Double swing/twisters barb here.
You don’t need to do all the objectives in a chapter to complete the journey.
I wouldn’t expect a casual player to complete half of the seasonal journey if we’re being honest, let alone 100% it. I consider myself semi-casual, and I have no doubt I’ll be able to beat this with enough time, we have 3 months after all.
Worst case scenario you could easily ask people in trade chat to join you, using your mats, for a free run for them.
You highly overestimate the D4 community. Oh they’ll complain for all of a day or two, then it’ll be over and onto the next big complaint. Mind you it’ll be a handful of people, we’re talking maybe 5 total.
Yeah there are 2 you can ignore but there are 3 objectives to kill these bosses so you’re forced to do 1.
Most true casuals won’t even get that far anyway…
You have three months to do it and it was already done in 3 days, suck it up buttercup would be my response to this one.
I dont have all my glyphs to 21, all my gears are masterworked to 4-8 only, and I can kill uber Duriel and Andariel, hit me up I will carry you, its easy to get help in the game, dont feel hopeless because you think you are casual, its multiplayer game, ppl can always help as long as you shout out.
just ask a friend to carry you , i’m already carrying my friends haha
Yeah I hate this They should not force people to do UBERS.
People will gladly help you beating Tormented Andariel and/or Duriel since they drop like 5 Uniques each.
wait, for the hardest contents people need to actually prepare? yea thats unacceptable.
just make necro, will be easy for you.
i already 100% completed the season journey for the hidden title. i think just doing one for the season journey isnt too bad
Tried that, lvl 98 with potions etc, lvl 15 glyphs, I just can’t do more than half her life. I get stuck toward the end of Phase 1 where she summons two fat mobs that somehow appear unkillable by my golem and mages for whatever reason…
I hate that there are so super hard requirements to complete the season journey.
Season journey is casual content, not for the 0,0001%.
people finished it in 2-3 days…
Different from you, i’m ok with them being there.
But I think you should have options to not do it.
In this season they made mandatory that you beat at least one.
I did Duriel yesterday and finished the season. Obviously, not alone. A group helped me.
But yeah… Next time add different options. They could be in the grinding side (like, “do Pits 100 times” or “kill 10 million monsters”).
You shouldn’t have to do it this way, but since there is no group finder, you can join a Andy/duri rota and get it done in 5 minutes from a discord.
Wait!
So there is actually content which are not targeted for the casuals?!
Wow! Then Diablo 4 is indeed going on the right track.
Breaking News : Not every single content in any single game out there, needs or should be completed by any “dad” or …whatever.
Yes, but it’s a seasonal journey. Most people, even casuals, want to beat the season. Breaking news: even dads like accomplishments.
I’ll give you a C- for effort though. At least you tried.
