I don’t know who’s idea it was to not even add the vendor for cosmetics, but this is prolly the most upsetting part of the event.

even with the vendor, it’s a stretch to call it an “event” but at least it gave you something to do, i for one, really enjoy hunting transmogs in games, but here u hunt them with the cashcard

Yea I’m big on collecting the in game cosmetics too. I’ve been working on Dark Citadel. I was prepared and excited to bang out what I didn’t have of the midwinter blight cosmetics, but I’m honestly surprised they didn’t add anything.

I pity people who didn’t get to experience the old days of Online gaming.
It has nothing to do with nostalgia. Games back then did have Expansion Pack sales, but the content was usually worth the price. Some of the games back then did have a monthly fee, but it was worth playing with thousands of others.
No cash shop, no microtransactions, no battle pass crap, no cross-promotion trash, etc.
If you wanted a cosmetic to show off in town, you had to earn it in the game.
Seriously. The Bobby Kotick’s have destroyed the purity and fun of gaming. It’s all about fast cash, reskinning / rehashing content, and putting all effort into ads and trailers.

nope and i dont understand really why, only the big goat has some chance to randomly spawn only to drop basic legendaries lmao

So my son didn’t get any of the gifts, and i cant call this and event or anything. They just switched a boss around, and why does it run from now to the beginning of Dec .
They couldnt even be bothered to add the cosmetics back in to earn for those who missed it?
Im really at a loss of words for how awful this is. Bliz couldnt even be bothered to have the event at the same level as before? You just made it worse? No cosmetics to earn? Even the same cosmetic as before??? This is a lower bar than recycled events. This is recycled neutered events. What an eyesore.

Would love for an official statement on why they didn’t add the entire event back. I mean, they don’t even need that ward doing it this way. Just put the loot in our stash and ez pz, you don’t even need to add graphics.

Just going to see how far I can grind to 300 in hordes since you need to kill enemies for event XP boost and brew and then Im done for season. This is a total letdown and will be quitting soon.
AT 272 now. See If I can get to maybe 285 to 290 before total boredom sets in.
I guess hordes are the best way to get XP because you need kills???
I didn’t check it out yet but if they really put back the same event without at least even the previous cosmetics then that’s just lol.
BUT it is pretty early in the holiday season still so maybe it’s still coming. Also the event was grindy / boring as hell - you had to 1shot infinite mobs in areas you had no interest being in - so maybe they are trying to rework it. I think i only unlocked like 1 thing in it before I gave up on that nonsense - and I usually like to grind stuff like that.

This is borderline worse than just having no event and just giving us the XP boost and monsters drop new elixirs sometimes. So bad. Unbeliebs levels of facepalm. They botched this up so bad this is a new low for Bliz in hits history for an event which they previously set in OCT with that poor event with 0 thought. This is worse than 0 thought. This is negative levels of thought. This event is literally worse than when first introduced. How they be this disconnected from reality?

Yeah, this is pretty frustrating. I had to go away on business and missed this event last year, only to find that after telling us they’re bringing it back…they took the rewards away?
