So not Paladin, sadly.
But whatever it is; I hope it uses shields. Because I love shields, but not enough to drop my DPS as my Necromancer by using one over a Focus. :stuck_out_tongue:

True! Maybe an Occultist? Someone trying to use demonic powers for good?
They always fall to evil in the end, but some have had good intentions at the start! Regarding Diablo lore, that is.

Though I would not want another spellcaster class, honestly. Thereā€™s already Druids, Sorcs, and Necros. Which outnumber the physical classes of Rogue and Barb 3 to 2.

but yea, i personally would also hope that shields are an option for the new class. shield wielders feel a little underrepresented =)

oh it will be like that anyway. i mean come on. whos not going to play the new class when its released =P?

i would love for it to maybe be one of the cannibals that maybe had a change of heart. so in to eating demons instead of people now. something truly twisted.

I think its going to be a summon focused hero. They are popular and sell cosmetics. Could work by harvesting souls and using them to summon. WE dont have a truly summon based hero yet so makes sense all around.

Whatever class they give us, itā€™s ideal to expect colored coded lack of diversity builds. Anything more from expectations would be unrealistic. Certainly it will feel like a copy/paste class from a game like grim dawn, PoE, last epoch, or something similar. So truly nothing new or or industry changing sadly. Blizzard took guild wars 2 flying mount, copy/paste in wow as a recent example. So expect a popular class from a passionate title to be cheaply sold as part of Diablo 4 entourage for an overly priced dlc to the sandbox platform that d4 is.

I would like a merchant/mercenary boss type character. Pay gold to summon mercs with no limit to them :p.

$9.99 nets you an elite merc, $19.99 nets you a boss merc, $49.99 nets you an uber boss merc lol.

A lot of people feel let down with this game. Some long time fans.
