been following the game for a trillion years, huge fan of franchise except Diablo Immortal, I’ve been looking forward to this game for so long and wanted to actually get everything for it for once
I’ve played every beta this far, this time around this stupid 2 day event with a tangible reward drops right in the middle of my 3 12 hour shifts. Great, okay. Lost a ton of sleep in between days, still got to 20, tried Kitava when I had a chance, dang didn’t get it. Okay.
Tried again today just now because I just got back from work, again no shot, random people in my group trolling or not caring about killing the boss and it’s literally impossible for me to do solo. Boss at 80% end of timer. I think that was the last attempt so…
can I not get the reward anymore? Am I actually screwed out of a reward even though I’ve made a ton of sacrifices already to try to get this? This honestly ruined my day and I can’t even begin to describe how ruined it already was.

Yep that’s the end of the event so if you didn’t beat it no reward. Also it’s ashava not kitava

Is there not one more chance right before servers go down? Serious question, not sure how quick they’ll be to flick the lights off.

The reward is from killing the boss. If you didn’t kill the boss, no reward. No more spawns.

missed out too. 12pm my time zone is criminally early to stop spawning him. Half the ones I was around for I was either working or sleeping. Ah well.
I’ m pretty sure they will make the reward available from the boss after the release. Or find another way to give it to everyone.

In my opinion they shouldn’t. Why make it difficult if they’ll just give it away later.

Just think of it positively, ok so you won’t have an item to show off like everyone else in the first few days, but very quickly people will start showing off items that look better or require challenges they believe not many others have done.
As a result, you will see less and less of this reward being used and even you will stop caring about it. 
It’s a temporary “bad-feel”, but don’t let it eat you up.

I haven’t seen anywhere that says the Cry of Ashava Mount Trophy is exclusive to the beta. I’m guessing all world bosses in the main game will reward their own mount trophy on completion. You’ll most likely be able to get it once the main game launches.

Dumb question: what difficulty were you doing it on? I agree the timeframe sucks.
Also i don’t think it’s exclusive to this event. The description just says “new trophy available.” All it means if you didn’t get it is that you didn’t kill ashava the very first weekend you could.
Nothing says it’s exclusive to a 2day event on a mother’s day weekend and the devs would be insane if they did restrict it.
It will be available to purchase in the shop. No worries.

Man i was grinding when i was off work and not taking care of my daughter and just tried to do the fight only to find out the last one appeared when i was level 18 before i even woke up this morning… super cool wasted my time getting to level 20… there is a whole day left today but they opted to spawn it at 3 in the morning instead of noon… wtf… im a collector of stuff and it really bothers me that i cant get the thing.

It is exclusive to the beta, it’s been said on multiple occasions during their livestreams, I think the original open beta blog mentions it.
If you spent less time typing this and more time killing demons, you would have got it!

You didn’t waste your time you still get the title and the cosmetic wolf. The spawn times were known well in advance, so that shouldn’t have been a surprise.
It was solod in hardcore. If you didn’t get it, you don’t deserve it.
