So many spammers on the trade chat. Dissapointed at Blizzard

The other day I was doing some Vessel of Hatred quests and I kept getting lots and lots of different spammers on the trade chat selling items and gold for real money on the websites that most of the people have read about

I have only played a few days this season and in that short time I have reported then blocked 95 of them approximately (I counted all the blocked people in the “connect” tab). Now only that but, this list gets full after 100 or 200 people (I forgot the exact number). I know this because I was unable to block people at the beggining of this season until I emptied this list just for this season

This means I have reported & blocked 200-300 bots / spammers / sellers because Blizzard doesn’t care about them. They say it’s against terms of service but they barely do anything or enough about it. It is obvious that they make you (Blizzard) money by buying a lot of accounts and you both profit from this

You say you want us to “immerse” in the “beautiful” graphics that you created, yet we get bothered multiple times per hour with the spammers that do this. Every hour I have to report & block a minimum of 3-5 people but the other day in just 1 hour I got like 10 different spammers

I’m tired of it, and the sad part is that if I or other people decide to leave the trade chat some times we miss opportunities of buying items at good / cheap prices

I just want to try and have fun with the game and I get annoyed by the spammers all the time so I cannot enjoy the story and gameplay. Now I understand why people have very little patience with Blizzard after many years or seasons go by

Participation in trade chat is optional. Feel free to exercise your option to disable it when it’s not needed.

The diabetic American devs only care when someone is being racist or sexist.

Because we are lumped in to a server based on load not region. Turn off trade chat in options before loading your character.

If people actually wouldn’t get greedy and use these websites, everything should be be ok.
Spammers aren’t the real illness. They are symptoms.

The problem is, that people use them.
It is the same with content creators and their metabuilds.
But here it is legal, what they do.

I mentioned in the post that leaving the trade chat makes us lose some good “opportunities” in the game, wheter it is getting items for very good prices, being able to help people or ask for help ourselves, making / answering questions. Instead of that I have to leave because spammers that Blizzard says are “not allowed”?

So they have to impact my experience and the experience of other people because Blizzard says selling items or gold is supposedly against the terms of service, yet they barely do anything about it? and that’s because they profit a lot from it, both Blizzard and the sellers that should be banned

The point of my point is… is they are breaking the terms of service, ban them, or let everyone do whatever they want with their items and let EVERYONE sell for gold or real money if they want, be FAIR

Sorry for venting, I’m dissapointed with the way Blizzard handle things like they want to appear like a professional / respectable / upstanding company
