The devs have now said that the season 2 patch is going to be so unbelievably jam packed with content that its gonna take like 4 hours even to discuss it all. Which means it is THE DEVS who are setting really high expectations.
When they fail to deliver AGAIN is that going to be the players fault for having high expectations like it usually is or can we get a new excuse?
If these knuckle heads had a modicum of common sense they would either say nothing or down play the patch so that players could be surprised and maybe feel like they are getting more than they expected. The way the devs have talked about season 2 if it is not an absolute slam dunk this game is going to get crushed even more than it already has.

Blizzard made a big show about D4 , seems like they paid alot to streamers , so they be silent about the real state of the game (beta phase) at release

They are doing it again to which is the best part. Hyping up this next patch to be the uber patch that is going to fix everything when in reality its probably going to have.
Gem tabs - should have been in at launch/hotfixed
Resistance fix - should never have been broken in the first place
A seasonal gimmic - might be cool might not
Some tweaks to item stats - Which is good
A few balance changes - which is good
But I would be really surprised if they do anything that is going to live up to the expectations they have set for the player base.

Honestly, this is all Iām expecting and Iāll still check it out. Itāll probably be more of the same though and Iāll drop off after completing the seasonal cosmetics somewhere around level 70-75.
I donāt have any faith that itemization is getting an overhaul. Theyāve never once mentioned it in any chats and never want to address that itemization sucks. Which is actually a shame. The game wouldnāt be terrible if we had good itemization.

This coming from the geniuses that brought us every other mind blowing patch or update. I think that they are going to add in some QOL features that should have been in the game at launch and act like thatās the slam dunk.

So, S2 is set to be released on 17th October. Guess when the Microsoft acquisition of Acti-Blizz is set to close? 18th October. My, these dates are so close together, whysoever would they release S2 just 1 day before itās ānot their problemā anymoreā¦

Damned if they do, damned if they donāt. These outrage zealots are absolutely ridiculous.
Just a couple months ago the community was asking for far more communication from the team, even suggesting that campfire chats be held every week. Now they are like, heyā¦we have a ton of new features coming that you asked for and we are excited about talking to you about them. And you guys are still up their butt for doing so. If nothing they do is right, even though it was asked forā¦why are you still here? Leave, dip, find something else to do. There are tons of other games, irl things to do. Do them.
This isnāt about PR, this is them giving the community exactly what they asked for and getting shizz for it. You wonāt even give them a chance because in your mind its probably already dead in the water.

Yep, the board is basically free range without management or oversight, so Iām not surprised. Donāt let the toxicity get to you, not worth it. Also, you might be projecting your own frustrations with the gameā¦ Take a break for a while 
Nah, Iām pretty good with the gameā¦few issues that need to be fixed. Currently working on a pure fire sorc since some people said it wasnāt viable. 680 hours in and still truckingā¦
