Dude just stop, you sound like an imbecile. If they wanted to stop people from doing carries, they could’ve just changed the mechanic that lets you do carries, IE infinite exp range. Instead they keep nerfing fun dungeons with high mob density, and doubling down on making the game as boring as f***ing possible.
People have been complaining literally since the game launched that mob density needs to be increased, and what to they do? THEY NERF IT. It’s mind boggling.
Edit Also didn’t mention that leveling in this game is already obscenely slow compared to literally every other arpg, and these nerfs just make it more and more grindy. Even with the broken farming strats it took way too long to hit 90, and now it’s going to take twice as long.
I apologize, maybe due to I’m a player who focuses on completing the storyline. However, you can’t deny that the rewards from dungeons are the reason why we choose to repeat the same dungeon, not because we enjoy it.
There is no “rushing to 100”, even with the “broken” exp strats leveling in this game is agonizingly slow. Hitting level 70 in d4 is like hitting 90 in most other arpgs.
Over the last couple weeks, it’s become quite clear to me that Blizzard has learned nothing from the work done on Diablo 3.
This problem in paticular was one of the very first issues that plagued that game, and devs were working for years to incrementally BUFF mob density in zones / rifts.
Where as with Diablo 4 devs, who are probably all brand new and never played the previous game, are working the polar opposite . taking mob density AWAY from areas.
There are so many things in the game that baffle me as a release issue, like nobody at Blizzard has worked on a game before, let alone one of their previous ones. These aren’t things that required expansions to add to the game, they were things fundamentally problematic to the core of the game, that had been solved in previous ones. Things like character limits, sparse stash space, mob density, monster scaling, item stats / loot drops, quest tracking, chat servers, group play, crafting, etc., etc…
Instead of nerfing the game over and over again, regressing it to a worse state than games 20 years before it, Blizzard should be improving the game.
How do you find time to play the game 20+ hours a day while also being a savage troll on the forums?
My guess is you’re sitting at the entrance to a dungeon while someone else does the dungeon, because you can’t handle the teeny tiny mob packs you’ve been advocating for.
It’s the new model for consumption.
You will do it the way they want you to.
Enough people vote with their wallets, they’ll abandon the idiocy.
Just ask Bud Light.
Far better than anything else they’ve come out with in the past 20 years. “today’s standards” lmfao. Games have been going down the sh*tter for the past 15 years. D2R, which is just D2 with some QoL and graphics, is easily in the top 3 arpgs currently on the market. It’s not perfect but holy god you need to have some brain defect to say something that stupid.
Anyways you’re probably trolling, not gonna bother with you any more
You reference other ARPG games and the time it takes to level on them compared to D4. So lets google it shall we i mean i know the answers but ill let google enlighten you.
POE You need 300+ maps just to get from 99 to 100. When we are going 100 million XP/hour at level 99, it takes about 42.5 hours.
Diablo 2 The grind to 99 currently takes well over 120 hours. Is this a reasonable amount of time? Most games can be considered completed within 40 to 80 hours. In D2, you can spend years if you aim for holy grail achievements.
Grim Dawn When focusing on the main objectives, Grim Dawn is about 21½ Hours in length. If you're a gamer that strives to see all aspects of the game, you are likely to spend around 161 Hours to obtain 100% completion.
Wolcen When focusing on the main objectives, Wolcen: Lords of Mayhem is about 17 Hours in length. If you're a gamer that strives to see all aspects of the game, you are likely to spend around 60 Hours to obtain 100% completion.
All these games require 100 hours+ of actual play time to obtain 100% completion (except wolcen that takes 60hours) in them. Most of the people in D4 did it like myself in less than 48 hours. Please sir dont complain about the length it takes to level and grind for stuff in a game genre that I can show you FACTS that you are wrong about.
IMO they need to nerf it more make yall actually play the game for once in your life.
Oh man, that was many moons ago too, before the latest forum overhaul and our post histories got obliterated. I hope it was a positive reason you recognize me, lol.
Full idiocy. I’m sure all the people indifferent or even happy about elite nerfs are noobs still lvl 80 or lower who can’t even clear sigils over 60. Piss off scrubs.
Speaking of crying its ms muffin girl whining about wanting to enjoy dungeon mobs. “Buh buh EXPLOITS… Shhhh. No want cares that you’re a shill. We get it, blizzard can do no wrong and blah blah blah let me hear myself type. Please use the nearest exit and touch grass if forum posts that make sense bother you.
Lower all dungeons to the lowest common denominator. I can only say that this is a game modification that can only be thought of by a designer with a brain like a jellyfish!
