I uninstalled last week after struggling to play for more than an hour and playing Dark Souls for the 8th time for more than 6. Thats when I knew I wasnt enjoying it
Na, the game has good bones. The story is solid, shame they don’t do more with it, the characters are generally fun combat as well. Im excited to see where future seasons take the game. Can things be better? Yes ofc. Like NM dungeons are tedious after an hour and leveling from 80 to 100 is a chore but that is linked to NM dungeons as well. Im sure this will be addressed at some point.
Your defense can be summed up as “The IP is good so you should stay while they continuously sh** all over the beloved IP and beg us for more money when we’ve already paid too much for the base game”.
people loving it, are still in t1 and haven’t touch lilith, i’m glad you got rid of it. still struggling to end uber and after that, i’m out. this is so bad in many ways i can’t describe, QoL my fudge.
I reinstalled and messed around on my Druid on season 1 and played for a bit thought some changes were nice, and then got bored and uninstalled for now. Been replaying Bloodborne and other games that are more fun atm for me.
You said the story was “solid”, and “the game has good bones”. These both can be attributed to the long-standing story of the Diablo world itself, not to Diablo IV. This would go under the category of “Intellectual Property” in the gaming world since the lore of Diablo IV itself added nothing that was not already in the other games in the series. The “good bones” of the game are basic in the ARPG genre, and nothing innovative or new.
Here it is implied that OP and others like the OP should “wait and see” if the game gets better, or “give it time”. To this I said, “No, I will not allow this company to continue to ruin this IP for me” in more colorful terms.
Yep. I play what I like. No new content in WoW for a while, so I raid log and play D4. I enjoy raiding, but I got KSH and the gear I wanted. I’m even going to try BG3 soon, but I’ll probably play D4 on and off for a long time, just like D2 and D3.
Umm… I am loving the mob density change. I went from doing NM as a chore to hunt down rares and level glyphs to just hunting down all the mobs and greeting them with wanton destruction. I did not even care about the loot or glyphs, they were just gravy. It was fun… well at least for me.
And the bonus to all that fun was that I went from 82 at patch, to halfway to 86 when I logged.
I agree that there are many, many issues with this game. I’ve posted about most of them lol. But today, I am enjoying myself and this is at least one step in the right direction.
Here is hoping that it is the start of many more.
Ummm… wut? First off, I don’t have any clue what your criteria is for “casual” but ok. Good job on taking a clip of my post simply expressing my opinion with no ill will in it.
Take a step back and get a grip please.
Dude that’s pretty standard procedure. Not just with blizz games.
Uninstall Dawn of War? Boom survey. Uninstall Cyberpunk? Boom survey. Uninstall Baldurs Gate? Boom survey.
Don’t think you are special or someone is watching you.
Looking at your original post…ahh the sweet irony.
