I don’t care about any of those things. In fact I have to be honest. I don’t eve know what Ray Tracing is. I looked it up and I still don’t know what it is. So yeah none of these things especially bother me.
No of those things matter for me, especially the incorrect one since I did and will play with controller on PC.
The one I’m baffled by if the couch co-op on PC. Do any PC games actually do this? I also think most want it as a way to just have an extra character following them for double loot.
It’s a semi “complex” topic but the easiest and shortest answer I can think of is that it’s the calculation of how light bounces and interacts with surfaces. It basically allows for more realistic reflections and shadows.
There’s a bit more to it than that and not every game that supports ray tracing, will utilize all ray tracing features (reflections, shadows, global illumination, number of light bounces etc.). Some games may only ray trace reflections and shadows only.
A lot of games that have ray tracing still combine a lot of manual lighting techniques WITH ray tracing, so it’s not always something that’s super easy to notice, unless you know what to look for. A more “high-end” and complete package version of ray tracing is called Path Tracing, which is significantly more demanding to run but does look a lot better. Only a handful of games have path tracing support. Check out the recent Cyberpunk 2077 path tracing update and you can get an idea of how cool it can look.
I think people playing side by side on the same computer. Because apparently some people have mythical partners that live in the same home as them and also enjoy video games/
