I hear these don’t work together.
My question is, how exactly am I, a regular human, supposed to know that without having to track down this information? The game has no visual indicator that there is or isn’t synergy between aspects.
Some synergize, other’s don’t.
It says “when casting an imbuement” not “when using an imbued skill”.
You aren’t casting an imbuement when you use pestilent, an imbued attack is just happening.
So, it says “is imbued” which could easily be taken to mean you’ve used an imbuement.
That’s one way to understand it, correct. It is a bit of a stretch though,
However, and going back to your question, you should be able to test it quite easily. It’s not difficult to figure out that they don’t work together.
An attack being imbued is not the same thing as using an imbuement skill.
The imbuement adds a buff, you other abilities use up the buff. Getting a buff from other sources is not the same thing as CASTING the imbuement.
